Your home doesn’t have to make sense to everyone.

Actually, we kind of love when it doesn’t.

Mix the metals. Keep the antique you can’t part with. Hang the art that makes you happy. Add the unexpected color. Put something old next to something brand new.

Your home isn’t supposed to follow someone else’s formula or look like the house down the street.

It should be layered with the things you love, the stories you’ve collected, and a little bit of the unexpected.

Because when it comes down to it, your home only needs to make sense to you.

You bought the furniture. You picked the rug. You hung a few things on the walls.

So why does your home still feel… unfinished?

Because furnishing a room and finishing a room are two very different things.

It’s the layers...the art, lighting, texture, collected pieces, unexpected details, and the way everything works together, that take a space from “we have all the things” to this feels like us.

And no, that doesn’t mean you have to throw everything out and start over.

Sometimes you just need a fresh set of eyes to see what’s missing.
