My sons’ birthdays are almost exactly 4 years apart so we had a joint family birthday party for them a few weeks ago to celebrate them turning 1 and 5 ♥️ simple handmade party details were both fun to put together and cute!! 🐛 the stars of the show were definitely the very hungry caterpillar cookies from Lynn | Columbia Cookie Company, LLC 🤩 I can’t say enough good things about how adorable and delicious they were!

This year I’m making a book blanket and it’s been such a fun project!! 📚🧶 I saw this idea while I was scrolling and thought it was so creative and interesting. It has been a good little creative exercise to pick out the colors to represent each book…there’s definitely been a few that have taken a couple attempts to get right! I love making things and crocheting is very relaxing for me so I’ve been really enjoying seeing these come to life.

My mom secret to reading more: I keep my Amazon Kindle in the nursery and read it instead of doomscrolling at nap/bedtime 😊 sometimes the phone wins but I’ve been able read a lot more than usual this year, so far! 📚

I’m excited to see these continue to come together!! Tell me, are you team Kindle or team physical book? 📕 I like them both but Kindle suits my life so well!!
