The Hands & The Heart came to be from my love for making gifts for my friends and family. With encouragement from those same people, I decided to share that love with others! Some of my happiest moments are when I'm creating something or working on a project. Many of the items in my shop are made from reclaimed wood and other found objects. Much of the furniture in my home was found antiquing or g

arage-sale-ing. I like to think about who had the piece before me and what they used it for. Same goes for the items you'll see for sale here. I see potential in a collapsed barn, a torn-out picket fence, or an old window, and am inspired make something new and beautiful out of something that was once, very different.

▪️Refinished with chippy, off-white chalk paint and a matte wooden top.

▪️Drawers are all in great shape, and as you can see it has a shallow top row, deep middle row, and shallow bottom row of drawers.

Filled some shadow boxes I had with wooden flowers, then did some hand lettering on the glass! The text is very subtle, but I love it that way. These are perfect for spring!

Love, love, love how this custom order from turned out! This is 2'x4' and has a wider frame than my usual work to match its larger size. The back is also braced to account for the extra weight. I had so much fun working on this one and loved the end result!
