Today marks my , where I posted my very first in my very first home.

An arch accent wall and bookcase to house all my favorite children's books for my son to enjoy.

And he does.

There is no prouder moment when my now 15th month old, walks up to look at that bottom shelf. Picking up a book, putting it back, and finding his true selection and holding it over his head bringing it to me to read. His favorites right now are:

Brown Bear, Brown Bear
Please, Baby, Please.
Bitty Brown Babe

Each of them have a fabulous yellow duck (recent obsession). Even sometimes after a nap or if it's quiet he'll grab a book and sit on the bed "reading". I'm so thankful that my love of reading is now his love too.

Here's to making more memories like this one, for my children and my home.

Remember me!??
I'm still here but projects are on pause for a moment. Why?
Nope not work. Nope not family reasons. Ya' girl done went and slipped in the tub and bumped her head. On a NON-SLIP mat no less. 😒

Our home was built in 1963 and has the original cast iron porcelain tub. 😵‍💫 I fell, laughed at myself, went to work. Then my family and some of you were like: 📢Go get checked out neow!!

I did and had a concussion thankfully the CT scan didn't uncover anything else.

I'm on the mend and waiting for whatever clearance you get after having a concussion. So until then join me in stories while I highlight my fav tunes and go about this life.

See ya laters! ✌🏾
