We value supporting the educational and professional development of our team, and our Mentorship Program has proven to be a successful effort in helping them become more familiar with the architectural and design industry and profession.

Our Design Technology Manager, Garrett Olson, will be speaking at AVAIL's Confluence Lexington event this Friday!

At MA Design, Garrett is helping advance how we capture and share the expertise and insights our team develops through each project, pairing that knowledge with technology that makes it more accessible.

He'll bring that perspective to his presentation, "Archiving Ingenuity: Subconscious Shifts to Capture Tacit Knowledge," followed by a panel with other fellow industry leaders, Reg Prentice (TonicDM), Kristina Williams (Lionakis), and Dr. Prasanta Bose (TwinMaster).

Making the impact of everyday work visible.

At Tech Tire’s One Roof facility expansion in Johnstown, Ohio, our experiential design team brought employee contributions and company values into view, connecting daily work to a bigger story of quality, safety and global impact.

In employee-focused areas, that story becomes personal. A high traffic employee corridor connects the team’s work to customers around the world who rely on the quality and safety of the products they produce. The Hilti Wall brings company values to life through an evolving employee recognition experience. Even tires become storytelling elements, highlighting Tech Tire’s commitment to repair, reuse, recycle and repurpose.

Together, these elements make the workplace a daily reminder: each person’s care, skill and contribution matters, with an impact that reaches far beyond the facility's walls.

Our team completely reimagined The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center, pairing classic symmetry and traditional detailing with local craftsmanship and a fresh, nature-inspired palette.

Upon entering the hotel and event center, visitors are greeted by a modern and vibrant interior. Grounded in timeless neutrals, watery blues and rich hunter greens bring depth and energy to the interiors. Custom details and inviting furnishings create a distinctive welcome, giving familiar spaces a fresh identity.

We’re thrilled to share that MA' s Cameron Guthrie, also President of NOMAColumbus, is speaking at the National Organization of Minority Architects Conference on October 15th!

Alongside fellow industry leaders Tami Chen (NBBJ), Tiffany Montanez (Gensler), and Oswaldo “Oz” Ortega (Brandywine Realty Trust), Cameron will lead a collaborative working session: “Money, Mission, and Momentum: Designing Resilient Futures for NOMA Chapters.”

This leadership workshop dives into strategic fundraising, governance stability, and building resilient chapter infrastructures to empower the next generation of design leaders.

A TECH Tire Repairs' One Roof facility expansion in Johnstown, Ohio, our experiential design team helped translate parent company TRC story into the physical environment. Within the visitor and partner spaces, we created visual experiences that connect customers, visitors and partners with TRC’s history, mission and impact.

The graphics weave together TRC’s global presence, commitment to sustainability and product reliability. Together, they create a layered experience that celebrates the company’s legacy, communicates what it stands for and reveals the reach of its work, locally and around the world.

We’re honored to share that we received two awards for our Sarnova HQ project at the IIDA Ohio Kentucky Chapter Design Awards! The project won the Work – Large (over 25,000 SF) category and received the People’s Choice award as well.

It’s especially meaningful to see this project recognized by both the design community and the people who voted for it. Congratulations to our talented team, whose creativity and care shaped the space, and thank you to Sarnova for trusting us with the opportunity to bring their vision to life.

Happy Climate Week! To celebrate, our sustainability team put together an exciting lineup of activities! 🌎

Our Climate Week aligns with New York Climate Week, which brings together global leaders in government, business, tech, academia, and sustainability. Hundreds of events are hosted throughout the week! Cities around the world now host their own versions to keep the conversation going—and we’re excited to join in!

MA hosted three key events: a step & activity challenge encouraging outdoor movement, a Lunch & Learn on climate-resilient architecture in Ohio, and an exclusive tour showcasing our sustainability work in action.

On Tuesday, we took an exclusive tour of one of our LEED certified projects, Sarnova Headquarters. One of our interior designers, Jenna Saul, led us on a tour to learn more about the LEED approach implemented on this project and explore how the building and site features were designed to prioritize occupant health, comfort, and well-being.

Our sustainability manager, Jessica Glorius-Dangelo, will be speaking at REBUILD Conference in Cincinnati on October 1st. REBUILD is a one day conference that equips leaders to build sustainable value in their organizations.

Jessica will be a part of a panel that discusses "Circular Buildings: Zero Waste Strategies Across Design & Operations." The panel will also include Joshua Lloyd from Turner Construction Company Dominique Hadad from Green Scope Consulting, and Mary Ellen Etienne from U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Ohio.
