From a toy-filled playroom to a sophisticated sitting room that feels straight out of a luxury boutique hotel.

This transformation was all about working with the home’s beautiful architecture and creating a space that feels warm, elevated, and intentional. We anchored the room with 4 leather swivel chairs we were able to reuse from another room, along with wood stained coffee table. We layered textures, rich finishes, and a statement leather chandelier that perfectly complements the soaring ceiling height.

Proof that with the right design plan, a room can completely evolve as your family’s needs change.

Proof that a neutral space never has to feel boring. Every detail was thoughtfully layered — we swapped out the oversized sectional for two new sofas to create a more open, inviting layout, then added accent chairs, poufs, fresh décor, and rich texture throughout. Black accents and warm brass details bring just the right amount of contrast and depth while keeping the overall feel timeless, cozy, and elevated.

Still thinking about this kitchen transformation from last summer 🤍 We removed a wall, added a wall, and designed a large island that completely changed how this family of five lives and gathers every day. The best part? Creating a space they’ll enjoy for years to come.

It’s been a minute over here… but I promise we’ve (well just me) been busy behind the scenes.

Hi, I’m Amy—Principal Designer at House of Steele Designs. We’ve got some incredible projects in the works right now, with a few finishing up and heading into photography over the next month (and I can’t wait to share them 🤍).

I specialize in kitchen & bath remodels, new builds, and full-room furnishings—creating cohesive, elevated spaces from start to finish.

Check out this before & after. From a 5’ x 8’ closet to a fully functional bathroom. We reworked the layout to include custom built-ins with deep drawers and a new closet, designed to align seamlessly on either side of the pocket door. Soft neutral tile and paint keep the space calm and timeless, while a warm wood-stained vanity adds just the right amount of character for this teenage boy’s bathroom. Clint at was truly wonderful to work with. He took the time to walk me through the showroom, give me a behind-the-scenes tour of their facilities, and thoroughly explain their techniques and capabilities. He was incredibly patient and detail-oriented—especially when I asked for a scalloped backsplash that needed to align perfectly with my vertical shiplap. Attention to detail like this makes all the difference.
