Harvest & Harmony photo dump 🌻✌️🍂

A little late, because apparently after spending three days pretending I have my life together in public, I require approximately two business weeks to recover.

But what a weekend.

Three days in the greenhouse surrounded by handmade crap, fall goodies, hippie vibes, amazing people, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with taking Hippie Sandy’s out into the wild.

Every picture in this video holds a tiny piece of the weekend. The booth I worked my ass off to fill. Things made by these two hands. People stopping to look, laugh, shop, chat, and support this weird little dream of mine.

I came home exhausted, sweaty, sore, and with significantly less inventory than I left with, so I’m calling that a damn good weekend.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, bought something, followed the page, shared a laugh, or simply told me you liked what I made. You have no idea how much those little moments mean to the person behind the table.

Harvest & Harmony 2026, you were good to Hippie Sandy’s. 🌸

Little Hippies, it’s officially Dolly Parton Day. 💛

9/25. Because obviously the woman who gave us 9 to 5 deserves her own damn date.

Dolly Parton has been so much more than big hair, rhinestones, country music, and one hell of a sense of humor. She has spent her life showing us that you can be wildly successful without forgetting how to be kind. You can have money and still give it away. You can be famous and still make ordinary people feel important. You can be unapologetically yourself and still leave the world softer than you found it.

Her music and movies influenced generations, but I think her heart will influence even more.

She taught us to dream bigger, laugh at ourselves, love people, give back, read books, wear the ridiculous outfit, and never confuse success with being better than somebody else.

That kind of legacy doesn’t disappear. It keeps showing up in every person she inspired to be a little kinder, a little braver, a little louder, and a whole lot more themselves.

So today we celebrate Dolly. The music. The movies. The sparkle. The heart. The generosity. And the reminder that what you do with your little corner of this world matters.

In a world full of Bezoses, be a Dolly. 💛🌻

I see a whole bunch of new Little Hippies have wandered in to follow the chaos lately, so I figured I should probably reintroduce myself. 🌸✌️

Hi. I’m Sandy, the hands, heart, questionable decision-making, and complete lack of adult supervision behind Hippie Sandy’s Homemade Crap.

I make a little bit of everything around here.
Nothing here is mass-produced perfection. It’s handmade. Sometimes slightly crooked. Occasionally created through a series of unfortunate events. But always made with love, personality, and a little piece of me.

Around here, perfection was never invited.

So if you came for handmade goodies, stay for those.

If you came for the behind-the-scenes chaos, there is PLENTY of that.

Hippie Sandy’s Homemade Crap is officially headed to the Fall Market at Colony Square Mall in Zanesville!

October 23–25

After Harvest & Harmony, you’d think I’d give myself a little break. Apparently I have confused “rest” with signing up for another three-day event and immediately making more crap. Seems reasonable.

And despite the word Fall in the name, I’m bringing a little bit of everything because picking one season and behaving myself is simply not how I operate.

I’ll have signs, wreaths, totes, shirts, handmade crap, and all kinds of wonderfully unnecessary things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.

There will be tons of local vendors with handmade crafts, goodies, and treasures, so grab your favorite shopping buddy, come wander around, support some small businesses, and maybe knock a few things off that Christmas list while you’re at it.

Today is the final day of the Harvest & Harmony Festival at Natural Creations in Lancaster, Ohio!

Little Hippies… we are back in countdown mode. 😬🌻

Today is Tuesday. Harvest & Harmony starts Friday.

And I’m not going to pretend I’m peacefully putting the finishing touches on everything while sipping coffee in my cute little pink craft room.

Nope.

The craft room chaos has officially spilled into the living room. There are half-finished projects everywhere. Supplies are covering surfaces that used to have actual purposes. New display pieces are being built because apparently I decided THIS was the perfect week to add more work to the list.

Some things are finished.
Some things are almost finished.
Some things are still just ideas sitting on a table judging me.

There has been a lot of crafting, a lot of “where the hell did I put that?” and definitely more panic than disco.

But this is the part you don’t always see behind a handmade business. The messy house. The late nights. The unfinished projects. The last-minute ideas. The stress, excitement, and wondering how in the hell it’s all going to fit in the Hippiemobile.

And somehow, by Friday, it will all come together. It always does.

I hope to see some of you this weekend at Harvest & Harmony at Natural Creations ! Come find Hippie Sandy’s in the GREEN HOUSE. 🌿✌️

Mother Nature FINALLY decided to stop trying to cook us alive.

After days of 105° nonsense, she dropped the temperature about 25 degrees and blessed us with a glorious 81° and the perfect breeze. And there is absolutely no way I’m wasting this kind of weather cooped up in the house.

But apparently owning a crafting business means the work follows you wherever you go.

Rude!

So today, the craft cave has relocated to the front porch. Paintbrush in hand, breeze blowing, music playing, and projects getting done while I soak up every damn second of this weather.

This is the kind of workday Hippie Sandy can get behind. 🌸✌️🍂
