Hi, I’m Summer 👩‍🍳

Welcome to Summer’s Cottage Kitchen—a cozy little corner of the internet where real food meets real life.

I run a Cottage Kitchen under the Texas Cottage Foos law here in Como Texas. I live with my husband of 23 years and our 4 children. I have been a home cook for many years who loves creating comforting, made-from-scratch meals that make busy days a little easier and family dinners a little more special.

From hearty casseroles and pasta dishes to take-and-bake meals you can pop in the oven and not have to think about it, everything here is made with the idea that good food doesn’t have to be complicated.

My kitchen is all about simple, comforting food you can actually use in your everyday life—whether you’re feeding a family, hosting friends, or just trying to survive a Wednesday night dinner.

I’m so happy you’re here—welcome to the official page for Summer’s Cottage Kitchen!

Many of you know me from my sweets side Summer's Sweets & Treats, but this page is where we slow things down and focus on cozy, comforting, home-cooked meals made to make your life easier (and a whole lot tastier).

Think of this as your “what’s for dinner?” problem… solved.

Here’s what you can expect coming out of my kitchen:

✨ Family-style breakfast & dinner casseroles (as well as smaller individualportions that are great for work or school)

✨ Cozy pasta dishes & hearty side dishes

✨ Take & bake meals for those busy nights when you still want something homemade

✨ And yes— even a few sweet itema with place & bake cookies, ready to bake cinnamon rolls, pies * cobblers!

I’m still getting everything prepped and ready for launch, but I want this kitchen to feel like your kitchen too.
