⚡ A LITTLE SOMETHING IS HAPPENING AROUND HERE… ⚡
My Wife and Her Crazy Ideas will be CLOSED for the next two days while we let the electricians take over the building for a bit.
The big project? There’s an old transformer tucked away down in the basement that needs to come out of its dungeon and be relocated and mounted somewhere a whole lot more accessible.
Because apparently “we’ll just leave that giant electrical thing buried in the basement forever” is not a long-term development plan. 😂
But here’s the fun part…
This work isn’t just for the store.
We’ve been putting a lot of work into this entire building, and some of what’s happening behind the scenes right now is laying the groundwork for some pretty exciting things we’d like to do with the rest of the property in the future. 👀
The store is only one piece of the puzzle.
There are empty spaces, upstairs spaces, ideas being kicked around, plans being made, wires being moved… and, naturally, My Wife has Crazy Ideas.
Which generally means I eventually get handed a tool and told, “Okay, hear me out…” 🤣
And while the electricians are busy doing their thing, My Husband and His Stupid Trucks won’t exactly be taking a vacation either. 😂
We’ll be out clearing some storage units, digging through all kinds of mystery piles, and hauling a bunch of good stuff back to the store.
So when we reopen, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll be walking back into new treasures, fresh inventory, and a whole lot of “where the heck did they find THAT?” 😁
So yeah… the doors may be closed for a couple days, but there’s plenty happening around here.
⚡ Something is brewing in this old building.
And we think Conrad is going to have a lot of fun watching it all come together. 🤘
