What the Mountains Taught Her 🏔️

Femininity & Freedom series— No. 2

For the second painting in my Femininity & Freedom series, I wanted to tell the story of a woman shaped by Appalachia.

The mountains taught her to be resourceful. The wild herbs taught her how to heal. Hard seasons taught her resilience. And the mama bears taught her that a mother can be tender and nurturing, yet fiercely protective of her children.

She carries the old ways with her—the kind of wisdom passed down through generations. She knows how to make something from little, how to care for the people she loves, and how to make a home feel safe.

She learned many things from the mountains.

But perhaps most importantly, she learned how to become one herself—steady, beautiful, and strong enough to weather any storm.

Where Autumn Wanders 🌙🍂

This one came together after a week of paintings that absolutely did NOT. 😂 Three canvases went in the trash before I finally found my way into this little moonlit place.

I wanted it to feel like one of those perfect fall evenings when the air is cool, the woods are glowing, and you just want to keep following the trail a little farther.

I think sometimes the paintings that make you work for them are the ones you appreciate the most when they finally appear. 🤎

Late summer walks are some of my favorite walks.🌳

This piece was inspired by our local walking trails—those familiar paths where the trees are still green, the wildflowers are hanging on, and you can feel the first little hints that fall is coming. 🍂

I love walking this time of year. It gives me a chance to slow down, clear my head, and notice the beauty in places I might otherwise pass right by. And inevitably, some of that beauty follows me back into the studio.

This original 8x10 is framed and available. Comment or DM me if it feels like a little piece of home to you.

It just felt fitting to share this piece again today in honor and remembrance of Dolly Parton. 🦋

I had a really sweet conversation with my daughter yesterday about Dolly and the legacy she leaves behind. For all her incredible talent and success, what stands out most is that people remember her for her faith, kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit.

What a beautiful way to be remembered. I think we could all strive to leave a little more of that behind.💜

This 11x14 original, titled Softly Given, is still available. Comment or send me a message if this piece speaks to your heart.

I’m having some serious FOMO sitting out this fall market season, but I SO appreciate all the continued love and support! 🥰🍂

Be sure to go see my friends at Bella Rustina Vintage Market next weekend! I’ll be back in November for the Christmas show, and I already can’t wait! ☃️🎄🎅🏻

In the meantime, I’m still offering pieces online for local pickup — including this colorful little 6x6x2 textured pumpkin canvas for those of you who are already ready for fall! 🎃💗

A Tale of Two Horses 🐴🐴

Two little originals, each with a personality all her own.

One surrounded by warm, colorful wildflowers against deep forest greens. The other standing boldly beneath a bright blue sky, surrounded by tiny blue blooms. I love how differently these two turned out while still feeling like they belong together.

Both are original 5x7 acrylic paintings, framed to approximately 8x10 overall, and they’re part of my Studio Sale.

Available individually at $55 each — although I have to admit, they look pretty sweet as a pair for $100. 🤎

Local pickup • One of each available
Message me to claim one (or both!).

Firefly Wishes✨
8×10 • Acrylic on canvas

That little stretch of summer when the sun is setting, the fireflies are coming out, and you’re not quite ready to go inside.🌅

I wanted this painting to feel warm and a little magical—the last glow of the day over the Arkansas hills, wildflowers in the grass, dragonflies lingering, a crescent moon overhead, and one tiny shooting star to make a wish on.

“Firefly Wishes” is an original 8×10 acrylic painting, inspired by those summer evenings I wish we could hold onto just a little longer. 🌙✨

Available for purchase. Message me if you’d like to make it yours.

Golden Days Ahead 🌻

I painted this one feeling incredibly grateful—grateful for a wonderful summer, for the memories made, and for the simple goodness of where I am right now. The last warm light spilling across a field of sunflowers felt like the perfect way to capture that feeling.

Summer is beginning to soften around the edges, and I can already feel the promise of fall ahead. 🍂

Here’s to appreciating the season we’re leaving and looking forward to the one that’s coming.

12x12 original textured acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. Lots and lots of texture, warm color, and a little bit of that late-summer magic. Available.💛

Home is more than a place—it’s the memories that travel with us. ❤️ It was such an honor to paint this family’s beloved home in Ireland on a vintage window, creating a piece they can enjoy every day here in Arkansas. Thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful commission. 🇮🇪☘️

🍂 It’s never too early to start decorating for fall. 🍂

One of my favorite things to paint is giving new life to old windows, and this hand-painted piece is ready to become the centerpiece of someone’s autumn home.

Since I won’t be setting up at any fall markets this year, my artwork will be available exclusively online with local pickup. If you’ve been thinking about adding something unique to your fall decorating, now is a great time to plan before the season gets busy.

This one features soft neutral pumpkins, rich blue accents, whimsical florals, and a rustic farmhouse style that looks right at home on an entry table, mantel, or porch.

🍁 Original hand-painted vintage window
🍁 One-of-a-kind artwork
🍁 Local pickup (Conway area)
🍁 Message me for pricing or to claim it before it’s gone!

Thank you so much for supporting my small business. Every piece is painted by hand and created to bring a little extra warmth into your home this season.🧡
