To our customers, friends, and community,

I don’t even know if I can put into words how grateful I am today. ❤️

A lot has happened in the past year since I joined my dad in the family business. It has been a year of change, growth, hard work, learning, and taking some pretty big leaps of faith. Through all of it, God has truly blessed us and our business through this community.

Being able to work alongside my dad and help continue building something that he has worked so hard for means more to me than I can say.

Working with my dad every day has also taught me that apparently “boss” and “Dad” are interchangeable titles. 😂 Some days he’s my boss, and other days he’s very much my dad — teasing me, giving me a hard time, and making sure I never forget it! But I wouldn’t trade getting to do this together for anything.

To have our community support our father-daughter business the way you have makes this recognition even more special.

Being named a Best of the Beach SILVER Winner is something we are incredibly grateful for because it came from your votes and your support. Every person who has trusted us in their home, recommended us to a friend or neighbor, shared one of our posts, left us a review, or simply cheered us on has played a part in where we are today.

I am so excited about the future of Bay View and everything that is ahead of us. I truly believe God has put us exactly where we are supposed to be, and I cannot wait to see what He has planned next.

Four installs in one day… and this was just one of them! 😍

I still can’t believe I took these photos! This home seriously looks like it belongs in a magazine.

Three of our installs that day featured beautiful custom woven woods selected by interior designer Kelley. She is so talented and truly has an eye for making a home beautiful. We love working directly with designers to help bring their vision to life through the perfect window treatments.

For this home, Kelley chose to leave the woven woods unlined, allowing the natural weave to filter the sunlight without obstructing that incredible view. They add so much warmth and texture while still letting the water and scenery remain part of the room.

And with a little help from AI editing to bring out what my camera couldn’t quite capture, the beauty of this home really came through. 🤍

Twenty-five years later, we still remember the courage, sacrifice, unity, and strength shown on that day and in the days that followed.

We’re so excited to be sponsoring Battle of the Cakes this year! 🎂💗

Our good friend Gina has put so much heart into creating a fun day that celebrates some seriously talented young bakers, and we’re happy that Bay View Blinds Shades & Shutters gets to be a small part of it.

Come out to Market Common on Sunday, September 13 from 12–3 PM to cheer on 23 young bakers as they compete for the title of Best-Tasting Cake in Myrtle Beach! And yes… everyone gets a chance to taste! 😋🍰
