I don’t usually post projects while they’re still in progress because, well… they’re unfinished. 😂

Normally, these photos are reserved for the person I’m making the piece for. I want them to see the progress, make sure they like what they’re seeing, and have the opportunity to suggest changes along the way.

For all of my projects, I want the font to be exactly what you want. And I want to make sure you’re happy with the image I’ve chosen to burn before I make it permanent.

That’s one of the things I love most about creating custom pieces. It’s not just me making something for you — it’s us creating something together.

Every font, image, detail, and little decision becomes part of the story behind the finished piece.

That’s what makes a custom design special. It’s just as much your project as it is mine.

Good food deserves a beautiful presentation.

If you’re planning a wedding, shower, family gathering, corporate event, or any special occasion, be sure to check out Hearth & Honey Catering! They put together incredible food with the kind of homemade touch that makes an event feel special.

And what better way to serve it than on a handcrafted OAR & OAK serving or charcuterie board?

We love seeing our boards become part of someone’s celebration — from beautifully arranged charcuterie spreads to appetizers, desserts, and everything in between.

Hearth & Honey Catering + OAR & OAK Tribute Designs — good food, handcrafted presentation, and a whole lot of love behind both.

If you have an event coming up, give Hearth & Honey a shout and let them take care of the food while we help make the presentation something people remember!

We’re hoping to bring a little Holly Jolly Christmas spirit to the streets of Cookeville with a float that celebrates the season, our community, and of course, our love of handcrafted wooden creations.

We’ll keep our fingers crossed and hopefully have some exciting news to share with you soon!

We’ve been a little busy around here lately!

We don’t typically leave the shop looking quite this messy, but with the extreme heat advisories we’ve been dealing with, cleaning up just hasn’t been very high on my list of things to do.

When it’s this hot, I’d much rather keep building than spend what little energy I have left cleaning!

We’ll get it cleaned up… eventually. 😉

25 years ago today, I was home getting ready to head to campus. I remember that morning, but I don’t think any of us truly understood how much the world around us was about to change.

A month later, I was signing on the dotted line, committing to leave for boot camp just after the holidays. That decision would take my life in a direction I could never have imagined.

But today isn’t just about my story. It’s about remembering the thousands of innocent lives lost, the families who were forever changed, the first responders who ran toward the danger, and the countless men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed.

I will always remember where I was. I will always remember what I saw. And I will always remember the way this country came together in the days that followed.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We never forget. 🇺🇸
