First sauce of the year is all done! 🍅❤️

I know, I know… I could’ve just tossed my ripe tomatoes in the freezer and canned everything at once later. But honestly, smaller batches are so much more manageable for me!

Plus, while the sauce was boiling down, I got my cupboards cleaned out and organized.

Fresh tomato sauce and clean cupboards? I’m calling that a win-win! 🏆🤣

Joe has been spending just about every evening working in the barn lately ❤️

We’ve had quite a bit of clean-up to tackle, and once that’s finished, we have a few projects on the horizon, remodeling the pig barn, building a creep feeder for Raven, and probably a few more things that will get added to the list along the way. 🤣

The days are already getting shorter, and we know winter will be here before we know it. ❄️ So for now, we’re making the most of these evenings and trying to get as much crossed off the list as possible before the snow flies! ❤️

Anyone else in that race-against-winter phase right now? 😅

But if canning your own sauce is something you are interested it this recipe is gold!
Not only is it delicious, its also simple and can easily be accomplished in a day ( if you start soon enough, I did not 😬🤣)
