Come and join us on Saturday, May 16, in Cowan, TN for a full day of activities from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Whether you’d like to attend for the full schedule or drop in for part of the event, we look forward to seeing you!
10:00 In honor of Cowan Concurrent Railroad Fan Day & Pollinator Event. Join Jarod Pearson at the Cowan Railroad Museum for a brief lecture.
10:00 - Cowan Tasty Treats Opens. Go by and get that morning cup of coffee or stop by to get a cool drink or an ice cream after the garden walk.
11:00 - Meet at the main entrance of the Franklin House for a tour of the historic Franklin House and Ikebana Flora arrangements
11:00 - Ruby's Antiques will hold a raffle for garden art and hand out free daylily seeds while supplies last. *
12:00 - Garden Walk in The Artisan Depot Garden.
12:00 - Gallery opens.
12:30 - Humming meditation in the Garden with Sarah Lantier
1:00 - Morgan Bolton-Evens: How to start a Pollinator Annual Garden. Morgan is a bee-keeper and owns Evans Plant Farm and Maple Bend Bee Supply in Murfreesboro.
1:15 - Local honey and sourdough tasting at Firefly Gala Room
2:00 - Book signing with local author Patrick Dean. Copies of his biography "Nature's Messenger" are available in the Gala Room.
2:00 - 5:00 Reception at the Artisan Depot Gallery, garden tour, and Garden Warriors teaching about pollinators, natural flowers to attract and feed our pollinators. Activities for children will be available.
