I have been in a lot of closets and small spaces this week. The ones in Ireland are something else.
A castle built in 1172 with 850 years of stone walls, wrought iron that curves like it grew there, and mauve velvet chairs anchored by a fireplace that has been burning since the 12th century.
A hidden room tucked inside ancient city rubble where you step through a gap in the wall and land in crimson: red chandelier, floral velvet wingbacks, baroque mirror on raw stone, dark hardwood against honeycomb tile.
And a hotel closet at The Grand in Malahide with warm oak grain, brass frame details, white quartz counter, LED underlighting glowing against the wood, and a Nespresso machine tucked in like it was always supposed to be there.
Three completely different spaces, creating three completely different moods. One thing in common: someone cared deeply about every single detail.
We couldn't not share !!🚪
