And just like that, the first season at The Blooming Loon is coming to a close. 🌼
What started as a garden, a whole lot of flowers, and a 🤔 let’s see where this goes idea turned into so much more than I expected — including my first ever event designing florals for a beautiful farm-to-table dinner. A huge thank you to Jocelyn Wilke for trusting me with that opportunity and letting me learn, create, and bring The Blooming Loon flowers to the table. 🤍
Another big thank you to Nickie at Schwoerer Acres for giving my flowers and fire starters a home at the farm stand this season, and to every single person who bought flowers, shared a post, encouraged me, or simply told me to keep going. You helped make this little dream feel very real.
Before the garden officially goes to sleep for the season, I’ll be collecting and packaging seeds from some of my favorites — orange and blush-toned cosmos, Oklahoma Salmon and Queen Lime zinnias, marigolds, and my original mixed zinnias (year 2 of open pollination). 🌱
📢 Seed pre-orders will be open through Oct 11 📢
$5 per packet or 3 for $12.
Pre-orders will help me decide how much to collect and save this fall, so if there’s something you’d like to grow in your own garden next year, send me a message!
For now, I’m looking forward to the quieter rhythm of fall and winter — dreaming up next season, and letting The Blooming Loon grow slowly and naturally.
First season: complete. 🥹🦆🌸
