A bathroom vanity has a lot more work to do than just hold the sink.

Think about your actual morning routine: Where does the hairdryer go? Do two people need counter space at the same time? Do you have enough drawers for everything you use every day?

A good vanity should be designed around how you use your bathroom — not just how it looks.

There’s a reason deep drawers keep showing up in newer kitchens — they’re just convenient.

Instead of crouching down and digging through the back of a cabinet, you can pull everything out where you can actually see it. Pots, pans, dishes, mixing bowls… grab what you need and you’re done.

Sometimes the best kitchen upgrades aren’t flashy. They just make everyday life easier.

Before you start picking cabinet colors and door styles, make a list of everything that drives you crazy about your current kitchen.

Those everyday annoyances are actually a pretty good starting point for designing a kitchen that works better for you.

Matching everything is definitely not a requirement.

A different color on the island can break up a kitchen, add a little personality, and give the room a focal point without making it feel too busy.

Would you mix cabinet colors in your kitchen, or keep everything the same?

Your microwave doesn’t have to be the first thing you see when you walk into your kitchen.

Building it into the island keeps it easy to reach while freeing up that space above the stove for a beautiful hood, cabinetry, or a cleaner overall look. It’s one of those little design choices that can make the whole kitchen feel more intentional.

Thinking about a new kitchen layout? We’d love to help you plan it.

One little space, so many uses. ☕🥂

We love how this setup creates a dedicated spot for morning coffee, evening drinks and plenty of extra storage — all without taking over the main kitchen. The beverage fridge, countertop space and cabinetry make it just as practical as it is pretty.

Sometimes the best additions to a kitchen are the ones that make everyday life a little easier.

It’s the little details that can make a big difference in how your kitchen works every day.

When planning your space, think about where you’ll actually use your coffee maker, toaster, mixer, phone chargers and other everyday appliances. The right outlet placement means fewer cords running across your countertops and a kitchen that just makes more sense for your routine.

Planning a new kitchen? We’d love to help you think through the details.

It’s the little details that make a kitchen feel finished.
Cabinets that reach the ceiling, layered lighting, hardware that feels intentional—none of these things have to be over the top, but together they can completely change the way a kitchen looks and feels.
Good design is all about making those details work together.
If you’re planning a new kitchen or ready to update the one you have, we’d love to help bring it all together.
