With how busy life has been with sports, school, work and everything else life has thrown us, it’s clear that I haven’t been doing much of what I enjoyed doing, which was making wood into art.

But here we are 😊.

I had the honor and a privilege to have been asked by a co-worker if I can make a flag for a silent auction coming up this weekend. Unfortunately, he lost his son who served in our military to su***de. My hope is that whatever this flag sells for, it helps other military families overcome just a bit more the tragic loss of their loved ones.

If anyone of you is in need of help or just need someone to talk to, please reach out to me or anyone in your circle. There is no time for anyone to be feeling alone or helpless.

Finished Project Friday!!

The Acosta Family hutch/hall tree is officially complete after years of talks and ideas. It has definitely made this space more useful.

Went a little rouge on the initial plans but I think it turned out just perfect for us. And if the wife is happy then so is my life hahaha.
(Kaia may not seem to impressed but I promise she was).

What’s In The Shop Wednesday!

Ever since we moved in to our home, Mrs. Acosta would say we need more room and use our spaces to their max potential.

Well that’s coming to life! In the hallway, there was a floor to ceiling mirror in a nook that would just gather up loose items and become a hoarding place.

Take a look at what we decided to put in that space to make it for “functional” for our family of 5!

(Demo of a mirror that big was something I prefer to no do again anytime soon!)

Shout out to Mrs. Acosta Woodworks!

Without her support nothing is possible. Watching her be the mother to our 3 kids and doing magical things for them on a daily basis, really makes my life easier. Plain and simple.

Better late than never is the saying right?!?

Although the school year is coming to an end in a few weeks, Santi will have a dedicated desk for school work.

We didn’t “build” the cabinets but definitely had to bust out the power tools to assemble them😂.

The top was built and cut to 30” deep and 6ft long. Risers were added under the top to get a nicer look.

Finished Project Friday!

Whooop whooopp it’s the sound of the police!
🚨🚨🚔🚔🚨🚨

We present you all the police caddy for our dear friend Officer Sauceda!

He was recently appointed into the K9 department and our little project here will help store all of his essentials for the work day plus anything else his buddy Kane will need.

A recessed outlet was installed to connect all of the electronics and a RFID lock to store the good stuff 🔫🔫😎.

Thank you again Rick and Ag for giving us this opportunity to serve you while you serve all of us.
