Terrified is very odd in that with a few changes it becomes terrific. “One of the hardest parts of life is living it.” I accept your fear and embrace your life. I see your pain and accept it as my own. We are all made of the same dust to which we will return and become one once more for a time.

Fear is as much a gift as joy.

It is hard to imagine but a world without fear would be lost and unsure. Fear is useful as a guide to provide us with a path to solace. Unfortunately fear is not as easy to embrace as joy or anger. Ultimately most will turn away from fear or project their fear into more dangerous emotions. Some will see fear and use it to isolate, create barriers, assuming that with walls in place they are safe. Safety is an illusion in a world of random creation. Others will turn their fear to anger, certain that if they can only get others to see the problem they will understand their ploy and join their cause. And some will ignore the fear and pretend it does not exist which only works to reinforce the fear.

No, fear must be embraced as you would embrace joy. Allow it to help you find a path that enlightens and accepts not one that defines or decides your actions. Fear reminds us that we still have reason to live and that beauty can be universal. The beauty of knowing you have been given breath so that you may love and be loved in return. The fear of losing that love is moot for love is eternal. I do not discount fear though I more often allow it to have little impact on my actions. Your fear is justified from your perspective and that is undeniable. You are not weak for being fearful. You are amazing just by being! Part of you may be fearful and part may be courageous. The outcome relies solely upon you and your ability to embrace the impermanence and imperfections that surround this existence.

May your fear help you find the kindness and compassion within and may Love be your guide to enlightenment.
