Fall is probably my favorite time of the year. The weather invites for earthy meals, and the preparations for the many Holidays in November and December with loved ones fill us with joy and expectation. These weeks leading up to Thanksgiving I will be offering special cooking classes on week-day evenings and weekends. These classes will feature soups and meats with Western Mediterranean touches, and also traditional Thanksgiving sides, everything healthy and made from scratch. Classes can be arranged at my home or I can go to yours. And as always, when you host a class in your home for a group of people, yours is free! With one whole chicken and a few leftover veggies I had in my refrigerator I made a fancy but easy two-course meal for five, and I still have a different dinner for two. Having my family and friends over makes me happy, even when washing the dishes.
