Sometimes the right house finds the right family. ✨

When we first met these homeowners, we were deep into planning a renovation for their existing home. Then this Southlake property came on the market and checked every box on their wish list. Instead of remodeling what they had, they took a leap and started a new chapter.

Our role shifted from renovation plans to helping transform a house into their home. With two young children, it was important that every space felt welcoming, durable, and beautiful. We layered soft textures, family-friendly furnishings, timeless finishes, and meaningful pieces that reflected who they are while creating a home that could grow alongside their family.

The result is a warm, collected, and comfortable home designed for movie nights on the sectional, kids gathered around the coffee table, and years of memories still to come.

The soft green walls, terrazzo floors, warm brass lighting, and textured tile gave this primary bathroom so much depth without making it feel dark or heavy.

We focused on making every inch feel intentional, from the custom vanity storage to the full height tile and freestanding tub tucked beside the window. The goal was for it to feel calming, elevated, and a little unexpected while still being timeless enough to love for years.

Good design is not just about what a home looks like. It is about how a family actually lives inside it.

The most functional homes begin long before cabinetry is ordered or tile is selected. Storage planning, traffic flow, hidden organization, appliance placement, drop zones, pantry layouts, bathroom storage, even where backpacks and charging cords live… all of it should be considered before construction ever begins.

This is where thoughtful interior design changes everything. A beautiful home that lacks function will never fully work for the people living in it. The best spaces feel effortless because every detail was planned with intention from the start.

A designer’s job is not simply to “decorate.” It is to anticipate problems before drywall goes up, maximize every square foot, and create a home that feels elevated without sacrificing real life.
