My husband wants me to stop spending, but my closet and I are going through a transition 😂

Over 160 lbs down and none of my clothes fit… a girl needed jeans! Came home from Nordstrom with the frame bow crop jeans and the PI***LA Cassie High Waist Straight Leg jeans because good denim is the ONE thing I’ll splurge on. 🤎

Now that $75 striped shirt? She stayed right where she was. I have boundaries. They’re just different in the denim department. 😭😂

Apparently, all it takes is a few affordable toys to get everyone off their screens and just a little too competitive 😂

It’s always the finishing touches that make a space finally feel complete. 🤎

I wanted something that would soften the room without taking away from the warm, moody feel I’ve been creating, and these Warm Linen curtains from EASEEASE Curtains did exactly that. The texture, the way they filter the light, and how much warmer the entire room feels… I’m obsessed.

It’s crazy how one change can completely transform a space.

No bedtime routines, no “what are we eating?”, no responsibilities for a few hours… just two millennials singing songs we’ve been playing since they actually dropped. 😭😂

Usher + Chris Brown really had us reliving entire eras of our lives.

Sometimes my mind still hasn’t caught up with my body.

Some days I look in the mirror and still see the woman I used to be. And I’m learning not to hate that version of me or rush myself past her. She carried me through a lot. She deserved love then, and I deserve that same love now.

150 pounds changed my body. Learning to see myself with love is changing so much more. 🤎

Sometimes the date is literally “you hungry?” and 20 minutes later you’re eating tacos and drinking margaritas in the middle of the day 😂

Carne asada, grilled shrimp + a mango margarita because this hot ass Texas weather clearly has no plans of letting up. 😭🍹

Because I need the “ber” months to actually BRR this year. I’m ready for cozy weather, windows cracked, something simmering on the stove and absolutely no reason to leave this house. 😂

Until then… I’ll just keep pretending inside.
