Love it… or list it?

That was the question these homeowners were asking when we first walked through their home.

The layout felt closed off. The style no longer felt like them. But instead of moving, they chose to completely reimagine what was already there.

We opened up the flow, softened heavy architectural details, layered in warm modern finishes, and transformed the home into a space that finally reflected this season of life.

And honestly… this is why we love renovation. The right home doesn’t always need to be a new home.

Happy Mother’s Day . The world doesn’t see what I get to see everyday. I get to watch Hannah serve her family, friends, and anyone within proximity of her and she always puts herself last. I can’t count the number of times Hannah will bring a complete hault to her schedule to get on her knees and look our kids in the eyes and check on them. She will stop whatever is going on in our day to check on someone who is having a tough day…they could be a stranger, a friend, someone we work with, someone she knows well or just met. It’s one of the things I fell in love with Hannah about when I met her. She reminds me what life is really about. It’s not about checking a task off a list at work, or shuttling kids to the next practice, or any of the things that keep us busy. It’s about looking and seeing the person in front of you and slowing down to create genuine relationships in life and make a difference. I want to honor you Hannah for putting others first and serving others with all the love in your heart. And for that matter…Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there that bless all of us everyday. You make the world a better place.

Welcome to Still Water.

Tucked into a quiet cove on a DFW lake, this home was designed to feel grounded, warm, and connected to the beauty outside its windows.

Warm oak tones. Natural stone. Moody moments balanced with light-filled spaces. Every detail was chosen to feel timeless, layered, and lived in … not trendy.

The goal was simple:
Create a home that feels like an exhale.

The kind of place where coffee tastes better in the morning, dinner somehow lasts for hours, people stick around, and everyone naturally gathers in the kitchen.

Still Water is officially complete, and this home is ready for lake days, late dinners, and the kind of memories that only happen when everyone wants to stay a little longer.

Our Cornerstone project.

Indoor-outdoor living, just as it was intended. And this sweet family is finally home.

A Texas foundation with a West Coast influence… modern organic, warm, and intentional throughout.

Intentionally designed in collab with a great team from architecture to furniture… every layer was considered and thoughtfully pulled together.

And with spring weather showing off like it has this week… there’s really nowhere else you’d want to be than out back!

Introducing 🥁 The Cornerstone Project.

A cross-country move. A fresh start. And a Texas home finally ready for hosting — just in time for Thanksgiving.

This project is grounded in warmth and natural texture: limestone, white oak, layered neutrals, and the kind of quiet details that make a space feel both refined and lived-in. The architecture does the talking here — a stacked-stone fireplace, generous natural light, and an open layout that brings the kitchen, dining, and living spaces together in a way that feels effortless.

Furnishing and styling this home was a highlight for our team, allowing us to create rooms that feel intentionally layered and grounded in comfort.

For a family who’s spent years between places, this home represents something simple but significant: a place to land, gather, and build new rhythms.

The finishing touches rarely get the spotlight—but they’re what make a room feel truly finished. Not in the “check the box” kind of way, but in the soul-settled, everything belongs here kind of way.

In our Good to Great project family room, it’s all those quiet details working together: the curated book collection made up of favorite hobbies and travel destinations, to the fresh florals that bring in movement & life, to the cozy mix of pillows and layered rugs that add softness without fuss… but then there’s a fluted marble fireplace & plaster mantel surround that anchors the space without stealing the show. But also!! Those two custom, one-of-a-kind art pieces that bring heart to the walls without needing to shout for attention.

None of it is flashy. But together, it’s those finishing details and curated moments that create a sense of calm and soul—a natural flow from the family room into the eat-in kitchen, where real life happens. That’s the power of these little things. They’re not really that little at all.
