I started way more projects than I will actually complete 🫣
This gorgeous diamond moss stitch pillow cover was my only finished project this month. This was the first time a yarn has tripped me up so badly! Like I knew I wanted to make a pillow cover with it but I spent about three weeks working up and frogging hours of work if the stitch pattern or size just wasn’t hitting right. I tried lemon peel, half double crochet, then finally landed on moss stitch. Initially I built it in rows but I still wasn’t satisfied with the look or the measurements. Then I saw a diamond moss stitch built in the round and knew I had to try it. All in all I learned new skills and it was soo worth all the effort.
Yarn: the label is on the last slide 😈
Pattern: Diamond Moss Stitch pillow by the Pixie Creates, super easy to follow
[WIP 1] Started this mindless project to avoid sewing the aforementioned pillow together (although that ended up being really fun)
Likelihood of completing: 7/10
[WIP2] Got bored with mesh cover up and missed doing checkerboard
Likelihood of completing: 5/10 (if I ever restock that yarn)
[WIP3] Started on the sleeves but I’ll probably finish this when it’s cooler weather
Likelihood of completing: 8/10
