Throw back to when I made a R2D2 cake for Dyllan’s 5th birthday. I used a vintage cake pan, 2 boxes of cake mix and a lot of frosting. It was the first and LAST time I ever hand piped a cake.
Took forever and talk about hand cramps!
Turned out pretty cool though.
It was a Star Wars / Clone Wars themed party at a park. Kids came in costume. I also made a Death Star piñata but it was too cool to smash up so we just scattered the toys and treats in the grass while the kids were occupied under a parachute tent.

Also showed off 3 lucky shamrock pins from a recent art swap.
I made mine with clover I hand picked at school and pressed in a book then set them in resin. ☘️
