Good design isn’t always about starting over.

Sometimes it's about recognizing what still works and thoughtfully designing everything around it.

For this primary bathroom, my client wanted to keep the existing jetted tub. Instead of seeing it as a limitation, we made it the starting point for the design. The goal wasn't to disguise the tub—it was to transform it from something that felt dated into something that felt intentional: more like a custom piece of furniture than a standard built-in tub.

We explored several approaches, including a stone surround, traditional cladding, and a vertical slat design. Ultimately, she chose the slatted surround, paired with warm, organic finishes that soften the space and make the tub feel more like a custom piece of furniture than a standard built-in.

Now that construction is underway, it's exciting to watch months of planning begin to take shape. I can't wait to share the finished space.

My client’s sunroom isn’t huge, so scale was everything. The client wanted seating for 6, so we started with a layout to make sure everything would fit - and feel right. Furniture is an investment, and you want to know it’ll actually work for the space and the way you live. The client wanted an organic, pulled-together look and asked for warm green and yellow paint options, so we built from there with finishes that bring the outdoors in and tie the space to the view just outside the windows.
