Destination Delray Beach Florida

Destination Delray Beach Florida Your NEW favorite beach destination awaits you! Come for the Tree lighting and see Santa arrive via helicopter!

A small and intimate town with big city sophistication, Delray Beach is 30-45 minutes from Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale International Airports, and only an hour north of Miami. A two-time winner of the coveted All-America City award (1993 and 2001), Delray Beach celebrates its art, culture and history. Delray’s Atlantic Avenue, which runs through the center of town from I-95 to the ocean, is the

longest Main Street in Florida. A popular destination for locals and visitors alike, Atlantic Avenue is a charming streetscape filled with upscale shops, fine restaurants and nightly entertainment. Delray Beach is known, nationally, for its family-friendly festivals such as the Delray Affair and Delray Beach Garlic Fest and for its famous 100-foot Christmas Tree, where visitors can walk inside to see animated displays. Delray Beach’s booming art scene is an experience for the eyes and the soul! More than 20 galleries and public art pieces are located downtown, which includes the newly redeveloped Pineapple Grove Arts District. Gallery Walks draw visitors on Friday nights from October to April. Delray Beach’s signature event, On The Ave, held six times a year always features food, music and an outdoor art gallery. An impressive variety of accommodations stretch from the beach to the heart of the downtown and range from luxury, to historic, to whimsical -- all with a creative, tropical flair. Visit Delray Beach, where Key West meets Manhattan.

Destination Delray Proudly Endorses Judy Mollica For Commission Seat 2 In Tuesday's Municipal Election As She Is The Most Qualified To Be The Voice Of Citizens, Businesses & Non-Profits In Delray Beach

For those of you who do not know who Destination Delray is, we're more than just a page that posts events. For 15 years we've focused on 3 core areas: Promoting and marketing city, non-profit, business and individual events. Advocating on the city, county and state level on any issues / legislation that could have an effect on existing and future events. Highlighting Delray Beach as a travel "Destination" via our national and international network of social media partners.

Additionally, we work both individually and collectively as Destination Delray to create these positive outcomes.
We've been doing this for 15 years, through all commission / city manager / business leader changes from the City Manager Dave Harden / Mayor Woodie McDuffie / Chamber
Of Commerce CEO Bill Wood years through our current slate of leaders.

Why We're Endorsing Judy Mollica: One word "Qualifications"
In the real world, qualifications to work for, to be a voice for and to be impactful in solving pressing issues for Delray's citizens, Delray's businesses and Delray's non-profit community don't require an MBA as recently stated by Mayor Carney.

To be impactful, to be a thought leader, to solve problems facing the Delray Beach community the only qualification that matters is actually HAVING real experience IN the Delray Beach citizen outreach, business and non-profit communities that make up the fabric of our beloved Delray Beach.

The only candidate with these qualifications is Judy Molllica
Judy's experience as a 2 term Planning & Zoning board member, Affordable Housing Committee For Delray Beach committee member, Rotary Club Board Member, Mae Volen Senior Service Center board member,Co-Founder of Friends Of Delray ( A 501c4 Community Service Organization ), Delray Beach Chamber Of Commerce Member & Volunteer for Achievement Center,Milagro Center, Delray Reads shows her commitment to, and experience in Delray.

Additionally, She is the ONLY Candidate to have gone through and graduated"Leadership Delray" and "Delray Beach Citizens Academy", both crucial to understand the true inner workings
of the departments and agencies of Delray Beach.
All the above, our friends, are the only qualifications truly required to represent and be the voice of Delray's citizens, businesses and non-profit communities.

Involvement, Action, Commitment & Passion: These are the ingredients for an impactful city commissioners.

Judy Mollica is that candidate, and we fully support her this Tuesday, March 10 in the municipal election.

Regards,

Destination Delray
