On the road again because great productions don’t only happen close to home.

This time, we headed to Williamsburg, Michigan to partner with Frost Florida for another incredible event. Our team handled the setup and power maintenance, set the landscape lighting, and helped focus lights on the tables to bring the space to life.

From local stages to destinations beyond, JBT Theatrical Design is always ready to bring our lighting expertise to your next project, wherever it may take us.

Have an upcoming project or event? We travel.

“The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring will light our country and all who serve it- and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.” John F. Kennedy

At JBT, we spend every day designing ways to light up the beauty of our communities. It is by this same light that we wish everyone a happy, safe, and brilliant 4th of July! 🇺🇸 🌟 💡

In collaboration with Frost Florida, JBT Theatrical Design was thrilled to support this annual event, the Tropical Safari Gala, where all proceeds support the Palm Beach Zoo and Conservation Society. This event helps to fulfill the zoo’s efforts in providing the best animal care, inspiring people to act positively on behalf of wildlife and the natural world. This past January, $2.8 million was raised to help protect what is rare and irreplaceable. It is always special when contributing to something larger than ourselves, plus seeing a porcupine ring a bell to start the show is pretty epic!!

Light has the power to tell a story.

This Memorial Day, we created a tribute in Vectorworks using theatrical lighting to evoke one of our nation’s most enduring symbols, the American flag, in honor of the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country.

May we never forget the sacrifice behind our freedom. 🇺🇸

We are blessed with the opportunity to be the prologue to an incredibly fun and beautiful fashion show! Our outdoor lighting design helped set the tone for a successful event at Lynn University.

Hello Facebook – it’s been a while!

While we may have been quiet on social media, JBT Theatrical Design has been hard at work behind the scenes supporting productions, concerts, corporate events, and specialty lighting experiences across South Florida.

Recently, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with Frost Florida at the White House and Mar-A-Lago as well as provide designs + work with touring artists at the Duncan Theatre and top tier educational institutions across Palm Beach and Broward County.

From theatrical lighting design and live productions to technical maintenance and venue support, we help bring creative visions to life – before, during, and long after the spotlight hits.

If you’re new to our page, welcome! We’re excited to reconnect, share more of our recent work, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at what JBT has been creating.
