We’re spending the weekend in Atlanta at the Carveco User Group Conference, learning how to get even more out of one of the newest additions to LKN doormats & more!
About three months ago, we added a Onefinity CNC machine to the shop, which uses Carveco software for designing and creating all kinds of projects. We’ve been learning as we go, but this weekend is all about picking up new techniques, seeing what other makers are doing, and figuring out how we can put this machine to work expanding what we offer.
And let me tell you… the wheels are TURNING. 😂
A few things we’re already loving: custom photo frames, personalized engagement ring boxes, gorgeous cutting boards with inlaid last names — which would make AMAZING housewarming or Realtor closing gifts — and so much more.
And because apparently normal demonstrations aren’t enough, that life-size British phone booth in the photos is carved entirely out of ICE using a CNC machine. 😳
Basically, we came to Atlanta to learn some software and are probably going home with approximately 847 new product ideas. 😂 Stay tuned … there may be some very cool new things coming to LKN doormats & more!
