High School Lockers to a Small Space Pantry! The entrance from the garage needed to be multi-functional. A thoroughfare to the backyard, a hallway to the mudroom and 1/2 bath, a space to fit a refrigerator and a pantry. We needed something shallow with lots of storage. We wanted something unexpected. Something old. A conversation starter. Lockers purchased off of Craigslist for $150, wrapped in end panels to match the kitchen, a custom built broom closet and you have more storage than we need! Get creative! Have fun!

With our Colorado winters, there is no greater luxury than heated bathroom floors! Before you enter or exit the shower, you have a nice cozy spot to rest your feet that warms your whole body. They are so easy to operate that an 8 year old can handle it! But the one who is enjoying it the most, might just be the "crawler" in the family. Hehehe!

I have been asked a lot lately..."Is renovating worth the cost?". My response is always, "I cannot answer that for you". It is personal. It is individual. It is home. It is you. All I can say is this... "If you were to ask this busy mom of 3, she would scream yes!!! Her bathroom is her retreat. Her quiet space. Her very own spa and, on some days, her very own yoga studio. It is where her little one crawls across the floor, where her girls will learn to put on makeup, where she takes a deep breath, it is where her day begins and ends". It was worth it to her.
