๐ŸŒ… Come watch the sunset with me.

No rush. No agenda. Just a few peaceful moments watching the day fade into the Pacific.

Sometimes the best way to end a busy day is to simply sit still and appreciate the beauty right in front of us.

Grateful for another beautiful evening by the beach. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

Sometimes I like my toes in the sand. Other times, Iโ€™m perfectly happy with my feet propped up on the deck, soaking in the last warmth of a beautiful coastal evening. โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ

Different views, same gratitude.

Tonight, thereโ€™s nowhere else Iโ€™d rather be. ๐Ÿ’œ

Mystic and Pam are soaking up every last bit of sunshine before the Oregon Coast settles into its rainy-season routine.

Two black cats, one sunny window, and absolutely no plans to be productive. ๐Ÿพ

Sometimes the simplest pleasures are the best ones. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

A Little Sunset Gratitude ๐ŸŒ…๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

Life has been moving at a pretty fast pace lately, but tonight the Oregon Coast gave me a reason to slow down.

No deadlines, no expectations, no place I need to be. Just the sound of the ocean, the last golden light of the day, and a moment to appreciate where I call home.

Grateful for these little reminders that even on the busiest days, thereโ€™s still beauty waiting just outside my door.

A Monday Full of Gratitude ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

Today was one of those days that reminded me how much I have to be thankful for.

I started a new part-time, temporary work opportunity in Newport, and the day couldnโ€™t have come together much better.

A beautiful coastal drive along Highway 101, an incredible view from my new workplace, and a schedule that still allows me to enjoy my early morning swim and get home midday to check on my beloved fur babies. ๐Ÿพ

Iโ€™m especially grateful for the wonderful people I continue to work with, the relationships Iโ€™ve built, and the unexpected kindness of a beautiful bouquet of roses given simply out of gratitude. ๐Ÿ’

Life still has its uncertainties, but today was a lovely reminder that sometimes things fall into place.

And tonight, Iโ€™m choosing to appreciate all the good.

Grateful for new beginnings, familiar faces, and this beautiful life by the beach. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

When the Pacific Says, โ€œNot Today!โ€ ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธ

A little Sunday afternoon beach time with Eddie and Claire. ๐Ÿพ Both pups are on restricted duty, so we kept our walk short and enjoyed the view.

The swells were putting on quite a show! I watched a surfer attempt to navigate the breakers before deciding the Pacific could have this round. ๐ŸŒŠ

Sometimes the best part of coastal living is simply standing still and watching Mother Nature do her thing.

Grateful for another afternoon by the ocean. ๐Ÿ’œ

Where Fresh Water Meets the Sea ๐ŸŒŠโš“

This morningโ€™s coffee and smoked salmon Benedict came with a fascinating history lesson!

I watched Taming the Mouth, a documentary presented by the Columbia River Maritime Museum, available on Amazon Prime Video.

Where the mighty Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean lies one of the most challenging maritime crossings in the world.

With approximately 2,000 shipwrecks mapped in the region, the Columbia River Bar has a remarkable history shaped by Indigenous peoples, trade and commerce, wars, and generations of mariners.

The documentary explores the construction of the North, South, and A Jetties, the ongoing need for sand dredging, and how modern drone technology helps monitor jetty deterioration for maintenance.

It also highlights wildlife and environmental concerns, the extraordinary skills of Coast Guard rescue crews and Columbia River bar pilots, and the dangers faced by commercial fishing crews.

Itโ€™s a fascinating reminder of how much history, engineering, and human courage exist where the Columbia meets the Pacific.

Another reason Iโ€™m grateful to call the Oregon Coast home. ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

Fish Tacos, Glass Art & a Little Mermaid Magic ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

A little Thursday evening fun at the Beach Club!

Started with my favorite fish tacos ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŸ, then joined Tinaโ€™s Glass and Paint Life for another creative evening.

Tonightโ€™s projects? A mermaid with silver highlights, a seashell bra, and a little honu in her hand ๐Ÿข๐Ÿ’œ โ€” plus a sunset-inspired surfboard! ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŒ…

Good food, creativity, and a little time doing something I love.

Sometimes thatโ€™s exactly what a girl needs. ๐Ÿ’œ

Tiny Coastal Kitchen, Big Gratitude ๐Ÿฅ‘๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

Six perfectly good avocados for 99 cents? Yes, please! ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿ˜‚

Todayโ€™s tiny home kitchen adventure: homemade guacamole to go with the street tacos I prepped on Sunday. The extra guac is headed into my Souper Cubes for the freezer!

After days of fog, the sunshine finally returned, and I can enjoy my ocean view while meal prepping with the Panther Pack supervising. ๐Ÿพโ˜€๏ธ

Little things Iโ€™m grateful for today: a good grocery bargain, sunshine, a cozy coastal home, and simple things that make tiny-home life easierโ€”including Eddieโ€™s ramp and my trusty Souper Cubes.

Youโ€™ll find both in my Linktree in bio! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ

When Sunday Meal Prep Julie ran out of inspiration, Wandering Julie put on her new boots and headed to Lincoln City. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘ข

I stopped by the Lincoln City Cultural Center to look around and hoped to find the street taco vendor I enjoyed last year. They werenโ€™t thereโ€”but by then, the idea had already followed me home.

So todayโ€™s meal prep became street tacos with steak, peppers, salsa, queso fresco, guacamole and plenty of lime. Sometimes inspiration isnโ€™t waiting where you expect itโ€”it simply gives you a little nudge and lets you take it from there.

The boots are officially broken in, the weekโ€™s meals have a plan and Sunday Meal Prep Julie is feeling inspired again. ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ’œ
