Spots fill up QUICK around here, so don’t wait until the last minute because y’all already know what happens… you forget and then panic message me later. 😂

The menu is pinned at the top of the page, so please take a few minutes to fully review it before messaging me. I also ask that you read the Rules & Procedures post pinned at the top as well so everybody is on the same page moving forward.

To help keep things running smoothly, please try to have your order ready when you message me. This helps me move through messages quicker and keeps this one-woman bakery operating on schedule. 👏🏼

🚨 ORDERS OPEN TOMORROW! 🚨

We’ve had a lot of new faces join the Sarah’s Southern Kitchen family lately, so I wanted to take a minute and explain how everything works around here!

First of all, welcome! 🩵 We are so glad you’re here.

🌻 WHERE DO I FIND THE MENU?
Our current menu is always pinned at the top of the page. Be sure to read through it carefully because there are lots of customization options available!

🌻 WHEN CAN I PLACE AN ORDER?

Orders are accepted Friday and Saturday only, or until all available baking spots are filled.

Lately, those spots have been filling up extremely quickly! In fact, last week I was fully booked in less than 9 hours.

If you missed your chance last week, don’t wait around—send your order as early as possible on Friday morning to secure your spot. Once I’m fully booked for the week, ordering will close.

🌻 WHEN ARE PICKUPS?
Porch pickup days are:
✔ Wednesday
✔ Thursday
✔ Friday

During the summer months, I ask that you provide an estimated pickup time so I can have your order ready and protected from the heat.

🌻 DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY?
Yes! Delivery is available on Wednesday and Thursday for a small delivery fee.

If delivery would make life easier for you, just let me know when placing your order.

🌻 SPECIAL EVENTS & CATERING

If you’re looking for treats for a birthday, graduation, office event, baby shower, wedding shower, holiday gathering, or other special occasion, please send your inquiry as early as possible.

The sooner I receive your date and details, the better I can plan, prep, and accommodate your needs. Special event and catering orders often require additional scheduling and preparation, so advance notice is greatly appreciated.

If you have an upcoming event, don’t wait until the last minute—reach out and let’s get you on the calendar!

I am absolutely BLOWN away! 🩵

These are some of the sweetest family portraits I’ve ever seen.

These photos are so much more than pictures. They capture the love, chaos, laughter, and beautiful little moments that make a family. Looking through them feels like reliving memories we’ll cherish for years to come.

ORDERS ARE OPEN

Y’all… the black bear roaming around our area has officially become a paying customer at this point. 🐻😂

Matter of fact, I’m pretty sure he’s the reason I’m running low on jalapeño cheddar sourdough this week.

Because WHY was this man spotted wandering through the woods looking like he smelled fresh bread through a closed window from 3 miles away? 😭

I just know he pulled up to Sarah’s Southern Kitchen like:
“Lemme get uhhhhhh…
• one jalapeño cheddar sourdough
• two packs of protein bites
• and whatever y’all got with butter on it.”

And honestly? Same.

Listen… if a whole BLACK BEAR is risking his freedom for my sourdough and protein bites, that should tell y’all everything you need to know about this menu. 😂🩵

The sourdough:
✔️ fresh baked
✔️ clean ingredients
✔️ fluffy inside with that perfect crust outside
✔️ apparently powerful enough to attract Tennessee wildlife

And the protein bites?
These little things have folks — AND forest creatures — acting absolutely feral.

Especially the strawberry lemonade and pineapple dole whip flavors. I’m convinced that bear has macros goals and a gym membership somewhere. 💀

At this point if you come to porch pickup and see a black bear sitting in a rocking chair waiting for his order number…

Please do not panic.
He already paid his 50% deposit. 🤠🌻

But for real y’all — the sightings ARE real, so please stay safe and aware if you’re out near wooded areas!

Now hurry up and place your order before the local wildlife buys me out again.

One of my favorite parts of summer has been getting to spend extra time with the boys and share pieces of the bakery with them.

This week, Dean, the youngest, jumped in and helped package several of y’all’s orders. What may seem like a simple task is actually a great opportunity to teach some important life lessons. We talked about attention to detail, taking pride in your work, responsibility, and why every step matters when you’re creating something for someone else.

Packaging isn’t just putting food in a bag and calling it a day. It’s making sure each item is protected, arrives safely, and reflects the care that went into making it. It’s learning that when someone spends their hard-earned money with you, they deserve your very best effort from start to finish.

Watching Dean take that responsibility seriously and seeing how proud he was of the finished product was pretty special. He checked labels, helped organize orders, and learned that even the smallest jobs are important because they help take care of other people.

But the moment that got me the most was when he got to help package an order his grandma placed.

There was something incredibly special about watching him carefully prepare goodies that were headed to his grandma. As a stepmom and small business owner, it was one of those simple moments that reminds you what really matters. Seeing the boys grow, learn new skills, and take pride in their work is a privilege I never take for granted. Three generations connected through something built with love, hard work, and a whole lot of heart.

Sarah’s Southern Kitchen has always been about more than sourdough, protein bites, and baked goods. It’s about family, teaching life skills, creating memories, and passing down values that last far longer than a loaf of bread ever could.

This week, Dean got to learn a little more about responsibility, hard work, and serving others—and I got a front-row seat to watch it happen. If you received one of the orders he helped package this week, just know it was packed with a whole lot of pride and one very big smile. 🩵

And honestly, those are the moments that make this little bakery so much bigger than baking. 🥹🩵🍞✨

Well… I said we’d cross that bridge when we got there, and friends, we are officially there. ☀️🔥

Summer is here!

These last few days have been HOT, and unfortunately, that does affect porch pickup orders.

I don’t want to risk anybody’s order melting, getting heat damage, or sitting out in the pickup bin all day, so here’s the plan:

When you choose porch pickup, please give me an ETA of when you’d like to pick up your order. That way, I can put it out as close to your arrival time as possible and make sure everything stays fresh and protected from the heat.

I’ve also been asked a lot lately if there’s a deadline or latest time to pick up. The answer is no! You can absolutely pick up in the evening. I know everyone’s schedules are different, and I try my best to accommodate that.

If you’re planning an evening pickup, just keep communication open with me so I know when to expect you and can leave the porch light on for you.
