If you're wondering why some people are born with creativity and some are not well, that's so far from true. I believe we were more creative in the areas such as how to nail an instant "I don't feel good" on Monday mornings or come up with a perfectly well-versed story on the spot to convince our parents we weren't up to anything. se you may think. While we have always had big ideas and plans and put them into action, it wasn't until we started dating that our creativity sparked in each other. We grew up in the same neighborhood, with the same friends, and went to the same school, but even that didn't bring out our talent. The longer we've been together emotionally, the more creative we get. We give all our creativity, passion, hard work, and commitment to each other to God. So, we have been each other's motivators, biggest critics, and influences over the past nine years. We balance out our creativity equally. For example, Rebekah, I can bring visions to life, look at something and make it "better" by changing a few things; I like order, perfection, and results. But I also work on ten things at once. I must remind myself to slow down and not just create big ideas on the spot. Corey, my husband, makes him so great because he studies what he wants. He works hard to build the concept until the last detail; then, he gets to work. Corey weighs the pros, cons, and costs and reminds me of them during each process. You see, he is a level-headed, worth-the-wait type of creative soul. I am the spontaneous, what's-the-worst-that-could-happen type of creative soul. Together, we give you 1331 & Company. We are two imperfect people who balance each other out (with a lot of Jesus), all while having a common goal.
