Bri and Tyler had a beautiful Northern Michigan wedding in the heat of summer.

Their florals were design in studio and delivered to the venue ready to go. organized getting all the flowers in exactly the right place on this windy day.

The ceremony trays made it from Lansing, to the beach on Lake Michigan, to in front of the sweetheart table.

Wedding flowers don't have to be a complicated process to still make a statement!

August is such a great time to get married in Michigan because the local flowers are in full production.

I had fun with so many wonderful textures and flowers to choose from for this arbor. The majority of the flowers were cultivated from my flower farm and when I can't get my hands on what I need I have a lot of wonderful people to sourse from locally and/or my wonderful rep .kgr.flowers

In lieu of Valentines Day coming up I thought it was fitting to share a red rose story with you.

This past season Pierce contacted me the week of the wedding asking if I can deliver an all red rose bouquet to his Bride the morning of their wedding.

Of course I was going to make this work! Red wasn't at all in the floral palette of anything I had on hand or in the garden, but there we are!

I am all about sweet details and this was THE SWEETEST!!

I have scrolled over this first photo so many times this winter and it is time it makes a place on my feed.

I can't help but feel joy and happiness when I see it. Not just because it is a beautiful picture, but because I laugh thinking about how I am constantly putting my face to the glass when the sun beams through my back windows on this longgggg cold winter.

It reminds me of sunshine and happiness every time! Especially the happiness and glow had on her wedding day! ❤️

It didn't just stop at this one photo when I pulled the album back up again. There were so many images that brought back the feeling of sunshine, glow, and the contagious happiness!!!

For me, I love when I hear a bride and groom are not going to see each other until they walk down the aisle on their wedding day. I live for surprises. That is exactly what I did on my wedding day.

I remember the nerves that build inside while I anticipated taking my first steps and the wash of calm I instantly felt when my eyes set on my soon to be husband for the first time that day. It is indescribable.

I do understand the desire to do that first look in private and can see how that experience could be just as emotional, but Emma and Austin took a little different approach. They did a first touch. A way to calm some nerves, or even build on the emotion before those first steps.

I can only image what a memorable experience that was for them.

Not a single story is the same and that is what makes each event so unique.

I love Christmas and so does Joe and Carly! The song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" couldn't be anymore fitting. Their wedding was on December 5th. It was such a cold day, but so cozy in the greenhouse. It was a great day to get married and they did such a great job incorporating the holiday spirit!

Ty & Taylor were going to plan a large wedding and it turned into something so much more intimate and beautiful.

Taylor ordered a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere for the two of them to travel to Northern Michigan to get married in September.
