some of my most lasting friendships started with two questions : knitter or crocheter? and what are you working on?
twenty minutes later you're deep in a conversation about fiber content and life choices... and somehow both at the same time.
i've moved more times than i'd like. every single time, the answer was the same - find a knitting group. and when i couldn't find one, i started one.

Knitting isn't just a hobby. It's your nervous system finding somewhere soft to land... reduced cortisol, increased serotonin, a brain finally in flow state instead of scroll state.
My doctor was telling me this more than twenty years ago. Turns out she was right.
