The Midnight Sun Traveler, “This series is my love letter to the wild North—where the sun never sets, the auroras dance, and every encounter is a story waiting to be told. Each painting is a memory, a spirit, a piece of the Arctic’s magic brought to life. An expedition by canoe on the Mackenzie River and Yukon Rivers for several months. Here the sun was above the horizon for 2.5 months causing a slanting and mystical light upon the land, water, and skies. This painting is filled with the bright and sometimes mysterious colors of the Arctic Circle's far north atmosphere.
