✨ 100+ YEAR OLD COTTAGE FURNITURE REVIVAL

This late Victorian / early Edwardian utilitarian piece has officially been rescued! Over its 115+ year life, its original history was lost under layers of yellow paint, mismatched glass k***s, and cheap plastic casters. I saw the incredible potential hidden underneath and went to work.

The Restoration Journey:

The Prep: Repaired the missing chunks of the geometric drawer grids, yanked off the modern plastic wheels, and stripped away decades of old paint.

The Nod to History: Left a tiny bit of the old paint on the drawer sides as a hidden tribute to its long past.

The Paint: Painted the top and drawer fronts in One-Step Paint in ‘Linen’, finished with a smooth clear wax.

The Wood: Brought the original cherry wood frame back to life using h**p oil for a rich, luxurious shine.

The Details: Polished, waxed, and cleaned every drawer interior, and put flat slides on the bottom of all drawers, then added antiqued bronze drop ring pulls for the perfect final touch.
