Meet the crochet soap sack: Because apparently, I’m an adult now and "scrubbing myself with a plastic puff" is no longer the vibe. 🧶✨

It’s basically a loofah that went to finishing school. It saves the soap, scrubs the skin, and doesn’t look like a neon pom-pom exploded in my shower. Plus, when it gets gross, you just toss it in the laundry instead of the landfill with this 100% cotton yarn!

Check out these results! 🌈✨

I’ve been spending some time in the lab dialing in the settings on the laser, and I am loving these color engraving results on stainless steel. It’s all about finding that "sweet spot" between speed, power, and focal distance to pull these vibrant hues out of the metal.

🔬 The Breakdown:
Material: Stainless Steel

Grid Focus: Testing focal distances from 169 to 217.

The Goal: Consistency. Looking for those deep blues and bright golds!

It’s a mix of science and art—one tiny adjustment to the line density or speed and the whole palette shifts.

Which color is your favorite? I’m personally leaning toward that deep cobalt blue in the bottom corner.

Ever wonder how we get that crisp branding on everything from paper to leather? It’s all about the precision of our ACMER S1 6W diode laser.

Unlike traditional printing, a diode laser uses a highly concentrated beam of light to "burn" or vaporize the surface of a material. By fine-tuning the speed and power, we can achieve two very different effects:

On Paper: We use high speeds and low power to lightly char the surface of our gift bags, creating a permanent mark without cutting through the fibers.

On Leatherette: The laser vaporizes the top plastic layer to reveal the contrasting color underneath, resulting in the sharp, detailed logo you see on our patches.

It’s a delicate balance of physics and art that allows us to keep the Archer’s Salvage & Stitch branding consistent, no matter the material.
