Your boss confronts you and asks to pay you $5/hour less for the entire day of work, what do you say?

For a 10 hour day it's just $50 less right? You can live without that extra $50, your boss believes it's no big deal. Now rhyme or reason, they just wants to pay you less. How does that make you feel?

Now imagine that you have bought your computer, your desk, you pay for your parking space, you paid for everything you need to work for your boss, and they still want you to work for $5/hour less. You have overhead now, but you are still being asked to take less for the same amount of work. Less money being made, but your costs are still fixed and some expenses may be growing - but they want to pay you less for the work you provide to them.

Over the 6 years I have been creating my art ,my costs have gone up 25%. At most I have increased the cost of my pieces by no more than $5, and 80% of my pieces i have not increased the price on. Im already making less for the same amount of work I did 6 years ago, so no I do not provide discounts on multiple.
