Behind every small business is a vision, a great deal of dedication, and countless decisions that shape what it becomes.

For Women's National Small Business Month, we're celebrating the women who turn their ideas into something meaningful, navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship, and build businesses rooted in purpose.

At Intentional Design Co., we believe the most meaningful results come from a thoughtful process, a clear vision, and intention behind every decision.

Here's to the women building something of their own.

In honor of National Kitchen & Bath Month, we're celebrating the spaces that bring both beauty and function to everyday living.

From thoughtfully selected materials and refined finishes to intentional layouts and timeless details, every decision plays a role in creating spaces that feel as good as they look.

Timeless design is about more than choosing neutral colors or classic furnishings. It's about understanding how materials, proportions, and thoughtful details work together to create a space that feels both beautiful and livable.

From the foundation of the color palette to the smallest finishing touches, every decision contributes to the overall experience of a home.

The goal isn't to follow a formula. It's to create a space that reflects the people who live in it and continues to feel considered for years to come.

There are hundreds of decisions that go into designing a home, and when you’re already managing a renovation or new build, even the smallest ones can start to feel overwhelming.

What grout works with the tile? Where should the lighting sit? Are the measurements right? Will these finishes actually work together?

That’s where we come in.

We take the pressure off the decision-making process, considering how each choice connects to the next and keeping the larger vision in focus. So instead of second-guessing every detail, you can feel confident knowing your home is coming together with intention.

Creating a beautiful home shouldn’t mean carrying every decision yourself.

Great design begins with the architecture.

The way a home sits within its surroundings, how natural light moves through each room, and how spaces connect all shape the way a home is experienced long before the furnishings are selected.

For us, interior design is about working with that foundation thoughtfully. Honoring the architecture, considering how each space will be lived in, and creating an interior that feels connected to both the home and its setting.

This World Architecture Day, we’re celebrating the thoughtful details that give a home its character and the architecture that makes intentional design possible.

The details are also where some of the most important decisions are made. How materials transition from one space to the next. Where lighting is placed. The scale of a fixture. How cabinetry functions. The way finishes, textures, and architectural elements work together.

When you’re building or renovating a home, there are hundreds of decisions competing for your attention. Our job is to see what you may not know to look for, anticipate how each choice will affect the next, and make sure nothing feels like an afterthought.

It’s a level of detail that comes from experience, and it’s what allows the finished home to feel cohesive, functional, and entirely considered.

If you’re looking for a home shaped by a designer’s eye and thoughtful attention to every detail, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch through the link in our bio.

Which stone works best here? How large should the island be? Which hardware finish complements the cabinetry? What size light fixture feels right for the room? Where should the furniture sit? Which tile works with everything else already selected?

There are hundreds of decisions behind a well-designed home.

Individually, they may feel like small decisions. Together, they shape how your home looks, feels, and functions.

Our role is to guide you through each one, keeping the bigger picture in mind so you’re never left wondering whether all the pieces will come together.

Ready for a more intentional approach to your home? Get in touch through the link in our bio.

Building a home in Vail or the surrounding mountain communities? The interior design process begins much earlier than most people realize.

Bringing your interior designer in from the beginning allows the architecture, materials, lighting, furnishings, and functionality of the home to be considered together, rather than addressed as separate decisions along the way.

The result is a more thoughtful process and a home that feels cohesive from the foundation to the final layer.

Planning a new build in Vail, Edwards, Avon, Beaver Creek, or elsewhere in Eagle County? We’d love to be part of the conversation from the start.

In honor of National Home Furnishings Month, we’re thinking beyond simply filling a room with beautiful pieces.

The furnishings that make a home feel personal are chosen with intention. They work with what you already love, reflect how you want a space to feel, and bring character, depth, and a sense of history into the home.

These are the kinds of questions we help our clients answer throughout the design process. We thoughtfully layer new pieces with meaningful objects, collected finds, art, and furnishings that feel as though they belong, creating spaces that feel considered rather than simply decorated.

The result is a home with warmth, character, and a story that feels entirely your own.

Ready to bring more intention to your home? We’d love to hear from you. Visit www.intentionaldesign.co or send us a message today.

93% of homeowners planning a renovation this year expect to hire professional help.

There is real value in having someone who can see the entire picture before the work begins.

An interior designer helps connect the decisions that can otherwise feel separate, from how a space flows and functions to materials, lighting, furnishings, and the details that ultimately shape how the home feels.

It means making decisions with the finished home in mind, identifying potential challenges earlier, and having an experienced perspective to guide you through the hundreds of choices that come with a renovation.

Because a beautiful home is one thing. A home that feels cohesive, functions for the way you live, and continues to serve you for years to come is where thoughtful design makes the difference.
