Hi, it’s me! Danielle, the face behind The Moonflower Meadow. 🌸

We are a micro cut flower farm in Elizabethton, TN, offering fresh, locally grown blooms from March to October. To keep the magic going year-round, we’re adding off-season goodies like pressed flower art, photo prints, and ornaments. Plus, our flower truck, Bluebell, is ready for bookings! 🚙

Looking back, gardening is truly in my DNA; I come from a family of plant lovers. My own journey here started with flower photography. After years of visiting botanical gardens for photos, I realized I could grow my own flowers in the backyard of our 1913 farmhouse, which made me realize I was just one flower bed away from becoming a gardener-florist. This is my third year growing cut flowers and my second year selling them, and I absolutely love getting my blooms out into the community!

A few quick facts about me:
🪻Born in FL, but loving TN farmhouse life.
🪻Married to my sweetheart, Brent, for 13 years.
🪻Cat mom to six fur babies (including our newest, Joan Jett!).
🪻Introverted, but will talk about gardening all day long.

We are kicking things off with fresh-cut lavender bunches this week (and maybe next!). Freshly harvested, beautifully fragrant, and tied with twine for $12. Perfect for a vase or drying to enjoy forever!

$22 Jar Arrangement: Field-fresh blooms in a glass jar, finished with our signature ribbon and tag!

$25 Wrapped Bouquet: Perfect for a bedside table or a sweet gift.

$35 Wrapped Bouquet: A generous, lush mix of our best seasonal stems.

Choose Your Palette:

Warm & Moody: Sunset tones, snapdragons, and deep, velvety rudbeckias.

Cool & Vibrant: High-contrast purples, pinks, and whites with elegant gladiolas.

🌸Porch Pick-Up Schedule:

All orders will be available for porch pick-up during the following hours:
Thursday - Friday: 4–7 pm
Saturday: 2–5 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 1 pm

I had an order for a little jar arrangement yesterday. I love making the little jars, they are just the cutest. It was a treat to include some lavender and a dill blossom in this one. 🪻

Still thinking about Bluebell’s first time out in the world! 🥹 I loved seeing the joy on people's faces and helping them build their bouquets.

This time of year I can promise all it takes is a blink to get behind. There's tons more to harvest but I did cut a bunch yesterday.

This is nicotiana, flowering to***co. I'm growing it for the first time this year and I really like it. Very good at pumping out the purple blooms. And they are getting taller which is good for wrapped bouquets. You just might see one in your flowers you ordered from me.

Fun fact: it actually is a direct cousin to real to***co (and tomatoes, because it's in the nightshade family)! But this ornamental kind was bred purely for the flowers.

What's available this week at The Moonflower Meadow. 🌻 Summer is really picking up! I have a couple of limited-edition releases available this week only (Wednesday through Sunday, or until sold out).

This week's menu:

Specials (this week only)
• Feverfew Grower's Bundle ($25): An overstuffed rustic bunch of 20 feverfew stems. Great for DIY designing or dropping straight into a mason jar at home!
• Summer Cottage Sunflower Bouquet ($25): Inspired by a custom design on the flower truck that looked so pretty I just had to add it to the menu. It has a mix of the buttery white and classic gold sunflowers.

Regular offerings
• Spring Market Bouquet ($25): For the sunflower lovers! Wrapped in kraft newsprint.
• Deluxe Market Bouquet ($35): Includes a premium ruffled peony and wrapped in kraft newsprint.

How to order & pick up:
To order, please send a DM, a text, or head online (written messages are best since I'm usually out in the garden!).

Porch pick-ups:
• Wed-Fri: 4-7 pm
• Sat & Sun: 11 am - 1 pm

A few quiet moments in the garden this morning before the day gets moving. I grabbed a few photos of what’s blooming right now and what’s to come soon (lisianthus, eek!). I just wanted to share a little bit of that morning peace with you.

We have plenty of fresh flowers available this week. If you want to grab some flowers for your table, I have three options ready for porch pickups:

💐Garden Jar ($22) – Sweet, simple, and ready for your kitchen table.

💐Standard Market Bouquet ($25) – A beautiful wrap in vintage newsprint, featuring sunflowers.

💐Premium Market Bouquet ($35) – A lush wrap in newsprint, starring peonies.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us, and if you're a new follower from the debut, welcome to the meadow! And thank you again to the farmers who helped my stock the truck with locally grown flowers!

The truck is a true symbol of our relationship. Brent and I worked for months to bring it to life together, and seeing it overflowing with flowers was an amazing feeling. For anyone who knows us personally, these are our passion projects. A car guy and a flower girl.

Since the cooler is packed with gorgeous stems from last night, still looking amazing, we have flowers ready to find a home on your table for the weekend. Here is what is available for porch pick-up:

$35 Premium Full Bouquet – Features a stunning peony (the very last of the season!).

🌿 WEEKEND PICK-UP DETAILS:

Today (Saturday): Porch pick-ups are available this afternoon from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM only.

Tomorrow (Sunday): Open for porch pick-ups from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM (the perfect post-church stop!).
