Homemade birria tacos, Mexican rice, and refried beans 530 calories and 36g of protein. Everyone in this house, love this dinner. My nephew even came over and destroyed it. Being in a calorie deficit doesn’t have to be hard or complicated. You can still eat and enjoy things that you love you just have to portion it out and make substitutions. For instance, I didn’t use regular tortillas. I use the low-carb Birria taco shells it’s 60 cal for two. I measured out the cheese 28 g then I measure out each portion. I am stuck after all this

You can still eat what you want in a deficit you just have to modify for example I really wanted a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin with a hash brown and a large iced mocha, but that is 1097 cal for all that together at McDonald’s so instead I had the Jimmy Dean’s turkey egg white and cheese McMuffin I air fried a hash brown, and I made a protein iced mocha and shaved off 435 cal. All that food was only 662 calories. Making swaps like these is how I was able to lose 243lbs naturally

If you think you can’t, if you think your to big, if you can only run a few seconds and then walk and run again remember everyone starts somewhere and consistency pays off. This is 1 year of working on my running, this is 1 year difference. It doesn’t have to be running just stick with whatever it is and it will pay off. Remember you got this

1 year to the date difference with consistently going to the gym and eating in a calorie deficit (no shots or surgery)  stick with it i promise those results will come. (I was already down 106lbs before I ever stepped in the gym losing that first 100lbs gave me the confidence to step in the gym)

It’s official I’m registered for my 1st ever half marathon, 13.1 miles baby. Do I have the body of a runner Absolutely not, I’m short, I have short legs, which means a have a short stride and take more steps to complete my race, but that’s not stopping me. I won’t let anyone tell me I CANT do something, or that my body wasn’t made to do something. I can do it it just means I have to work hard at it. This is just a stepping stone into what the future of races hold for me. I have big goals to achieve and many races I want to complete. It all starts with this one and my qualifying time.

Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t do it because I promise you can 💪

Down 236lbs Naturally and When I tell you all how much I feel like my old self I truly can’t explain it. I feel like the old Ashlee again finally. I think I lost myself without realizing it, putting everyone a head of myself and not taking care of myself because in the back of my mind I could always come back to myself later. Please don’t be me, don’t lose yourself. Don’t let another day go by making another excuse on when you can start the work on yourself. Just start today.. if you let that one excuse in you will continue to let it in. Here I am 20 years later and I finally feel like me again.
