It can be difficult to hear negative comments from people who may not fully understand the purpose behind what I do. HMS Resell was built on the belief that everyone deserves kindness, dignity, and a helping hand when life becomes challenging. Before items ever reach the donation yard sale, many are donated directly to struggling families and individuals in our community and surrounding counties who need them most. The remaining items are offered for just $1.00, making everyday items affordable for people from all walks of life, including young families, seniors, students, and those working hard to make ends meet. Every item donated creates opportunities for neighbors to support one another. I am incredibly grateful for the many people who have embraced my mission, and I will continue to focus on serving our community with compassion, generosity, and an open heart. The lives we have touched, the families we have helped, and the relationships we have built will always mean more to me than any criticism I may face.
