If you find yourself wishing for more storage space in your home... consider purging and tidying the linen closet. ✨️

This client was excited to learn some folding tips to keep the space tidy, but if folded stacks are too high maintenance for your household to keep up with, I would opt for labeled bins to keep it organized and pretty. ✨️

This client asked for ALL the clear bins to help her ADHD brain see and remember her fabulous inventory of party supplies.

No more re-buying things she forgot she already had when prepping for party time! ✨️

Garage makeover for Fit4Mom HoCo owner, Erinn Bende. ✨️

I had worked with Erinn on her dining room last year, this time she put out the SOS on her garage where she stores all the goodies for Fit4Mom events.

When you don't see it, you forget it exists!

Cabinets often get crammed with stuff that nobody wants... maybe a few things you desperately need but haven't been able to find! 😆

A good clean out and some thoughtful storage made this cabinet more valuable for a family with kids who love to craft! ✨️

This laundry room was a drop zone for Amazon returns, birthday gifts, and other "in and out" items.

We decluttered (ALWAYS the first step!) then assigned homes for the categories of stuff.

Returns now go in an "errands" tote hanging on the wall.

Gifts for upcoming birthday parties now have a dedicated shelf.

Sewing repairs have a labeled bin.

The mini vacuums got tucked into a cabinet and a small hole drilled in the cabinet will allow them to charge without impeding the flow of laundry!

Finally, a lazy susan was added to the corner cabinet to maximize space and keep items from getting lost in the abyss.

These cabinets were museums for remnants of a past season of life.

The client's kids are now full grown adults so old textbooks were donated or recycled.

Photos and memorabilia were saved.

Like new supplies were donated.

LOTS of old paperwork was tossed.

The result is SPACE for things the client is actually using in this season of life. ✨️

This kitchen looked great on the surface, but the drawers and cabinets were concealing a build up of gadgets and gear that hadn't been sorted in years.

The client wanted a fresh start with just the essentials.

Rusty spoons, warped tupperware, and superfluous gadgets were voted off the kitchen island.

The result was tidy, organized drawers, ready to make cooking easier. ✨️

Cords are a pain to untangle and sort, but the strategy is the same as organizing anything.

1. Untangle.
2. Sort by type.
3. Trash obsolete cords.
4. Pare down if you have a LOT of one type. (Pick your favorites based on features like longest length or fastest charging capacity.)
5. Use cable clamps for bulkier cords, and smaller cord straps for thinner cords.
6. Extension cords can be stored in the garage or basement.
6. Smaller cords can be stored in baggies or compartments. Labeled ziploc bags tossed in a bin is perfectly fine! If looks matter, you can find a pretty container, even one specifically designed for storing charging cords.

Don't overthink it... a quick Google search will tell you how much it would cost to replace the cord if you end up needing it in the future! ✨️

Tackling a multipurpose space- home office/laundry sorting area.

As we organized, the client asked for tips on laundry. She finds it hard to stay on top of the constant flow in her household.

Laundry is a layered process so I asked about her current routine to try to identify pain points. The BIGGEST issue we identified is that she just hated being in this room because it was so cluttered and disorganized. 😆 After seeing the space organized, she was energized to make decorating plans so it can be a cheerful workspace for a mundane task. ✨️

This was a playroom edit to pare down and organize the toys the family wanted to have on hand for this season.

Broad labels make tidying up quicker (and more likely to happen!)

The two "Baby Toys" bins contain a variety of toys with small parts. Some of the small parts from one baby toy toy might end up in the other "Baby Toys" bins during clean up and it's FINE. Off the floor every day is the goal. A simpler system is easier for kids and adults to keep up with. 😊 ✨️
