I tried *really* hard not to avoid hands and feet.
I went last night with a limited palette: burnt sienna, Prussian blue, Naples yellow, and rose of ultramarine. I enjoyed that additional challenge as well.
Note: Props freak me out! But I will get there.

A fun night, an incredible space, and something I'm looking forward to keeping in my life.

A few of the paintings I've made that I'm keeping in my bedroom for now. (Plus a reflective preview of my lighting choices). Surrounding myself with extra bits of nature makes me happy.

I recently cycled out some older pieces I had displayed on my walls for a few from a newer collection. It feels a little lighter in here now. Fresh energy.

For the past 4 months, these 8 pieces have been visiting a local gallery. I am so stupidly overjoyed to have them home with me a little bit longer.

I will have them with me at Art Walk on the 31st, alongside the remaining pieces from April, and more.

I made 5 different flowers in April. When I built out my prompts, I knew they had to be native North America, and preferably the Midwest.
I love that my style has evolved with each. Despite their differences in color and shape, they all feel like *mine*
