Time to get back to school --- we brought new stock of Syracuse University apparel and related items [see the showcase] including a fleece blanket for autumn game-watching and a funky oversized fleece that tucks into an Otto orange pillow. Such fun! Sorry but most of the summer clothing and footwear stock is gone, along with the 50% sale. Oh well. As we watch the temperature reach the 70s during the day, it's in the 50s at night. That means sweater weather for sure and costumes for Halloween. We're doing a major overhaul of both Alpha Omega and CLOZY so be patient as we bring new items and say "so long" to summer. The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed is open Wednesday-Saturdays 10am-5pm and Sundays 11am-5pm -- Rain or Shine you're going to find wonderful and unique items throughout the store. Shout out to our friends at G.G grandmother garden, The Triple R and Rusty Rooster.

WandytheMaker is a man who knows what to do with quilts. He also has an amazing appreciation for the effort that does into making a quilt, so we are enthusiastic fans of his Facebook and YouTube videos. Looking for a one-of-a-kind jacket or drawstring pants? WandytheMaker makes them and sells them on his website. He can also make you a custom quilt coat, pants or bag/tote if you send a quilt to him. OR, if after seeing his work you are inspired to remake a quilt yourself, we have some available in the CLOZY booth in The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed [ASIS only $24 each]. Oh, and we are also bringing some autumn and Halloween goodies to Alpha Omega because we know the weather is going to change suddenly and we'll be ready for pumpkins and hot cider before we can say "Labor Day?" WHAT?

You won't need to travel to Ireland or Maine -- we brought the good Irish Aran and LL Bean Sweaters [plus others and some blazers] to CLOZY today. Until we get our act together [maybe next week] clothing is still 50% off! WHAT??? 100% wool sweaters on sale -- because it is 90* and humid outside and we spent yesterday in the A/C pricing the sweaters. Enjoy.

OK folks. We’re all familiar with the holiday sales that are supposed to end after the holiday but go on for weeks afterwards. [sigh] We had a 50% off sale on all clothing, belts, purses, footwear and scarves in CLOZY during the month of July so we could make room for the next season’s apparel. All the lace tops, Hawaii shirts and sleeveless dresses are gone for the year, but we’re extending the 50% sale through this weekend. NEXT WEEK – sweaters, blazers and new purses arrive. This is the final chance to get summer clothing, sandals and leather coats before they disappear. In the meantime, we offer some pics of fun finds offered in Alpha Omega. Remember, the Apple Kitchen is open Saturday and Sundays at The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed.

We’re in the [almost] final week of our 50% OFF Summer Sale. Novelty T-shirts have been flying off the racks at $3 each! Stylish apparel for mowing lawn, walking dogs, washing cars – and making a statement on life. We brought some new clothing, purses & belts AND we’re ending in some fall outerwear [sweaters…] in anticipation that some folks might need something warm as they squeeze in a few more weekends for warms days and cold nights in the Adirondacks or Catskills. Heads-up – August brings back-to-school plans. We will bring back the Syracuse University apparel, sweaters, light jackets, hoodies and long-sleeves.

It’s smokin’ hot outside [really] but rather pleasant inside The Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed. Our Alpha Omega and CLOZY booths are tucked in the corner of the left wing, well worth the stroll. We’ve been re-arranging in Alpha Omega this week and brought some new items: Larkin Soap Co. Sheet Music Cabinet c1895 [$168]. Fun planters including RELPO Dogs & Houses, Royal Copley Sea Lion and Spaniel & Baskets Planters [$16 each]. Schlitz, Genesee & Pabst Beer Goblets [$8 each]. Check back if you can -- we will bring more novelty T-shirts to CLOZY while the 50% clothing & accessories sale continues in July. If you cannot come on the weekend to enjoy a meal in the Apple Kitchen, consider taking a container of Chef Patrick’s soup home. There’s a great selection of TOGO soups in the freezer by the main entrance.
