To say I am excited is an understatement! 🎃 🌼 🍂

🌸 Come join me Nov 7th for a morning of designing, some brunch snacks and coffee and of course, lots of laughs and fun!

Happy Fall! 🧡💛🤎 ~ Jen

We are so excited to welcome Jen Smith from Wild Heart Farm Co. to Audrey Jean Makery on November 7!

Jen has such an incredible talent for floral design. Her arrangements are absolutely breathtaking, and we feel so lucky to have her sharing her creativity and expertise with us at the Makery!

On Saturday, November 7, Jen will be leading a hands-on Fall Pumpkin Floral Arranging Workshop, where she'll guide you through creating your very own stunning arrangement using fresh flowers, seasonal greenery, and a foam pumpkin!

We'll also be enjoying a light brunch while we create. 🥐☕

Whether you're a beginner or simply love fresh flowers, this is going to be such a special morning!

🌸 Space is limited, and pre-registration is required! We'd love to have you join us!

Farm progress - 🌾
Soooo much mowing going on the last couple days. Mowing down blackberries and scotch broom and tall grass (the evilest invasive plant EVER!!!)

It’s amazing to see just how wide open it is after the large clumps of these devil plants are gone.

LOTS of space for flower and foliage fields!! - The plan is to map out the largest we want to make it and then plant in a smaller area in 2027 within that space so we can gradually grow into our space.

🐝 As you can see in the pic - the bees are so happy up here too!!

Next update will be about our moonlit yellow jacket hunt - STAY TUNED!! 😳 🌙 🐝

The moral of this story . . .
Snapdragons are on my grow list for 2027! 🌸 🌺 WOWZA

Spring, Summer, and Fall… every one of them!

These late season snapdragons were SUCH a surprise and I love them. The fluffy peachy goodness pairing with the Southern Belle Dahlias ✨ 💖

Be on the lookout for Spring Snaps from WHFCo.

🩷🌸 ✨

Off to deliver this beauty!

🌸 ❄️ It’s official, the frost has arrived and the dahlias will die off and are being put to bed for the year. (Until we clean up the filed and dig and divide them soon)

It was a successful year at our new WHFCo Farm field!
Lots of flowers grown, sold and shared with so many people. 🌸 What a life ✨

I harvested all I could last night to provide flowers for the American Legion Gala ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸 My WHFCo Subscription clients 🌸 and my new friends and community in Veneta 💚

🤎 🍁 🧡 Next up will be two Holiday Workshops and Thanksgiving and Holiday Wreaths!

🍁 💛+ 🎄 ♥️

Stay tuned for the 2026 WHFCo Holiday Collection!!

The documenting continues! 🌸 🌼 📸

As the days get shorter the dahlias PUMP OUT THE BLOOMS!

Genetically the plants are pushing more and more blooms so that the bees can pollinate them and they can produce more seeds - producing more plants.. 🤯 🌱 Yeh, nature is so cool!

This makes for the perfect time to get those final pictures of the dahlias we carry and will be producing next year when we offer our tubers and flowers for purchase! 🌼 🌸 🫶🏼

These are just a few of them so far - what’s your favorite one?

Sunday -It was a day to rest the heart and soul. ✨

I spent all day with Renee at Renee talking everything dahlias ,nature, worms, ferns and moss - sprinkling in life. 🌸🩷 So good.

I got to see her beautiful dahlia filed that had started with a patch of bushes and grass that her piggies 🐷 crooted up and leared out for her. The process and change in space was amazing to hear about and see!

Then - she jumped in feet first like I did nurturing her 100+ tubers to beautiful flowering plants. So proud of this friend of mine.

Sharing our spaces and processes and plans for 2027 has gotten me even more energized for next year already. 🌸 🌱

Thank you Renee for the magical day 💫

Off to buy my graph paper notebook today 📝

Dahlias… my favorite flower EVER. 🌼

The smell of the cut stems take me right back to my sister and I picking my Grandpa’s dahlias and putting them in the only vase my Grandma had - an old plastic olive green vase.
So ugly until you got those flowers in there. 💚🌸 😂

The flowers are POPPING! 🌸 Shoot me a message and I’ll send you the deets to order!!

Happy Friday Friends!
