Michelle is launching her first class with us this June — and it's an evening class, which means finally, something for the night owls! Learn to Crochet with Michelle is happening Tuesday evenings, and we cannot wait for you to meet her.

Over three Tuesday nights, Michelle will teach you the fundamentals of crochet — chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet. You'll work on a beautiful wind spinner project and finish the class with both a completed piece and the confidence to keep going with any crochet pattern.

In Sharilyn Ross's "Choose Your Own Shawl Adventure" class, you'll learn two stitch patterns — the Granny Stitch and the Virus Stitch — and then get to decide how to combine them to create a unique triangular shawl that's all yours.

Want to keep it simple? Just use the Granny Stitch — totally beginner-friendly. Ready to level up? Combine both patterns for something more complex and truly one-of-a-kind. Either way, you'll finish with a beautiful summer shawl perfect for a chilly evening or an over-air-conditioned locale.

Make a gorgeous felted bag with Nancy Vandivert this spring.

The Curve Bag is soft, structured, and stunning — and honestly, watching it transform in the washing machine is basically magic. You'll knit it in the round from the base up, add an I-cord trim in a contrasting color (that becomes your handles), and finish with a sewn-on snap closure. It's one of those projects that feels way more complicated than it actually is.

We saw familiar faces and lovely new ones. Experienced knitters and total beginners. LBY staff and community members. People diving into their stash and folks grabbing yarn for that gift card raffle. And through it all — so much laughter, so much help, so much joy.
