🅿️🎨 SENIOR PARKING SPACE PSA 🎨🅿️
As we head into another season of senior parking spaces, I want to take a moment to talk about something that is absolutely crucial to the success and longevity of your design: PREP + PRIMER.
I require ALL spaces to be properly prepped and primed before I begin painting, and there is a very good reason for that.
In order for me to do my job well, have the time to focus on your design, and give you a finished product you can truly be proud of, the surface underneath has to be ready.
Proper prep and primer are not optional. They are CRUCIAL to a successful paint job.
Now that we are past my fourth season of painting senior spaces, it has become very clear that many spaces were skipped or improperly prepped in previous years.
And those spaces are peeling.
When I encounter a space where the existing paint is already lifting, flaking or peeling, there is only so much I can do. I simply do not have the time during a scheduled paint day to completely strip a parking space and start from scratch.
What should be a one-day painting project can quickly turn into a multi-day surface preparation project.
That is not something I can absorb into the cost or timeline of your design.
🚨 MOVING FORWARD 🚨
Peeling or improperly prepped spaces MUST be corrected by the client before I can begin painting.
If I arrive and your space has not been properly prepped and primed, you will be notified.
At that point, your space may be moved to the end of the painting list until it is corrected, or your booking may be refunded and cancelled.
I know prep isn’t the exciting part. You want to see the fun colors, lettering, mascots and designs! 😂 But I promise, this step matters just as much as the pretty stuff.
I want your space to look amazing AND hold up as long as possible. That’s why I am being more firm about this moving forward.

🎨 PRICING UPDATE FOR NEXT SEASON 🎨
Moving forward, FULL PAINT-OUTS WILL START AT $500.
A $500 starting price would be an example of a base-level space, such as a one-color background with a name or simple lettering.
From there, pricing will increase based on the amount of detail, number of colors, lettering, graphics, mascots, specialty elements and other design aspects involved in the space.
Every design is different, and the amount of time, labor and materials required can vary significantly. Pricing will be based accordingly.
After four seasons of painting these spaces, it has become clear that my previous starting price no longer reflects the amount of work that goes into them.
I love getting to bring your seniors’ ideas to life. I love seeing these spaces come together and knowing that they become such a special part of their senior year. ❤️
But Crown B Customs is a business, and I have to make sure the pricing reflects the time, labor, preparation, design work and materials that go into creating these spaces.
