October 7th is National LED Light Day. Three things worth knowing:
1. The date marks the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physics for the blue LED, the piece that made white LED light possible.
2. Bridgelux founded the day in 2016.
3. LEDs use 75 to 80% less energy than incandescent bulbs.
4. SLP started in 1969 - when LEDs were tiny indicator lights.
What's the oldest lighting still hanging in your facility? Would it make Thomas Edison proud or Oleg Losev?

Recertified! Our Sullivan facility has renewed its ISO 9001:2026 certification. For our OEM partners, that's independent confirmation that every build follows a documented, verified quality process. Thank you to Justin and the whole team for the hard work behind this milestone.

Look closer. That's not aluminum.
The CircLED housing is molded from thermally conductive polycarbonate by Covestro. It pulls heat away from the LEDs, weighs less than die-cast, and won't corrode.
Built in Missouri by SLP Lighting.

The IRL Glow-Up 💡

We donated CircLED high bay lights to The National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis. Out with the old metal halide. In with CircLED.

Swipe the before and after. Same space. Completely different experience. Brighter, cleaner, more energy efficient light from top to bottom.

They actually had to dim them in certain areas. We'll take that as a compliment.

Proud to support a local landmark at The National Museum of Transportation. Even prouder that our lights are the ones making the exhibits look this good.
